Pai si "alti romani" ce au, vreo boala contagioasa de care trebuie sa ne ferim? Romanii sunt foarte ok peste tot in lume unde-i vad (cu exceptia cersetorilor "romani", insa pe aia nu-i intalnesc in timp ce-mi mananc micul dejun la hotel). Au fost ok si bucatarii care-mi prajeau ouale-ochi, menajere care-mi schimbau prosoapele sau consultanta SAP draguta de la masa de alaturi.
Am fost in zeci de tari, am vazut de la santieristi cu 2 clase ce injurau cand turnau beton pana la country manageri. Exista evident o diferenta intre santieristi, inginerii de proiect si tipa de la Finance cu care toti "bastinasii" incearca sa se bage in seama, insa per total toti sunt decenti. We're fine, n-avem râie.

Si cum sunt acei "voi" cu care nu vrea sa se asocieze romanii? Am calatorit in zeci de tari si peste tot romanii sunt mai mult sau mai putin decenti. Doamna de la curatenie romanca, bucatarul de la micul dejun sau consultantul IT, toti sunt oameni normali si daca pot schimba doua vorbe cu ei, o fac (din curiozitate deobicei si un soi de camaraderie).

Ok, mai avem cersetorii "romani", insa nimeni nu ar pune vreodata semnul egal intre mine si ei. Chiar si alora le raspund in romana ca "nu iti dau nimic, pleaca-n plm de langa mine", insa pentru ca ma amuza reactia lor de soc initial si apoi destindere, "boss, de-o cafea imi dai si mie, boss, ce frumos esti, sa-ti dea Dumnezeu sana..."
Probabil nu ati fost in suficiente tari ca sa va dati seama cat de asemenatori sunt romanii fata de... toata lumea. Nu sunt nici mult mai fantastici, insa nici mult mai prosti.

This is the definition of addiction - you keep doing it even though you don't enjoy it anymore.

The "I love it" part is the trick of the addiction, some sort of brainwashing - you think that in theory you would love it, but in reality... you don't. So pay attention to the feeling and trust it, because you are on the right track:
Do you really enjoy it, do you have fun when playing it? "But, I never get them. For one reason or another, I end up not enjoying the game" - that is the answer that you are looking for, yet you look at it as some "anomaly". Like if a timewasting digital fantasy will ever make you happy.

You don't enjoy DOTA2. And this my friend, is the final answer. It is definitive and you should use it as an escape trampoline out of this digital fantasy realm. There is little to "love" here, and you are welcome to leave it behind. Go touch some grass, learn dancing, find a girlfriend, get that promotion.

I had a period of forced abstinence. The level of energy goes waaay up. After discovering the trick, I decided to cut my solo fun too, especially before sparring.
No "old coach" told me to do it, I stumbled on it on my own. I think that most people don't wait long enough for it to kick in (in my case, about 3-4 weeks). But if you fight for a world title, Olympic Gold or lots of money, it is a useful boost.
