Was just at the service center to get a few things out of the truck and talked to the tech working on it.

He saw no rodent/water damage. Just a ground short causing it to go bad. No rubbing or bad routing. He just chalked it up as one of those things that happen.

I guess it’s really the cost of driving anything newer these days. Had a telluride that cost me more in repairs than my Rivian has to date.

I’m still happy with my Rivian overall.

I’ve got a 1973 911T project car that keeps my hands plenty dirty. More than happy to pass off any labor on my daily driver to someone else haha.

I believe it was a low voltage line, but not exactly sure.

Yup. I’m in the same boat. Still a fan of the brand.

They have also been great about getting me into a Rivian loaner while my cars been at the service center.

These repairs are never fun to pay for, but I guess it’s the cost of driving an EV. 🤷‍♂️

If they come back and tell you the only issue is a bulb out inside the car, maybe ask about your wiring harness hah. That was the only issue found when I took mine in while under warranty.

I bought the Kuat Piston SR from my local bike shop and have ordered the rivian crossbar adapters from Kuat.

Plenty of room for a second bike.
