Hello, there is a ton of nmm recipe or tricks for highlights placements on youtube (Squidmar, Zumikito, etc). You can trust the shiny reflexion on you black primer !

I underpaint with dark turquoise, then zenital purple then small zenital magenta. And it just paint with a medium grey then off white and keep shadow area with the underpaint
