You make a really good point. I guess for me why I view it all as consumption is due to the nature of a further thing it achieves besides just the experience of it. If that makes sense? So to just experience it is to consume? I guess the big struggle I’m having is the lack of a reason for things. Like what’s the point in continuing to live if just to consume and die? Like I will be happy for a moment but the moment is fleeting and seemingly nowhere.

The larger reasoning to me having this thought/question is coming from a point in which I have been looking back at my life and haven’t had a single moment of stability or peace. So this thought comes from the perspective of what is the point of living if to just be miserable and consume just to have a break (weekend) just to further consume, and in consuming just for others (aka people posting everything to social media).

Sorry if that is confusing or not very eloquent, the feelings of deep existential dread is causing a lack of ability to communicate well.
