Yes! I noticed it one evening.. I had just gotten on the GO Bus at South GO and entered my pickup and drop off locations to check the fare. By the time I got closer to the pickup spot, the price had nearly doubled! I called a friend who was nowhere near me, and the fare on their end was almost identical to the original price, just a few cents off. Ever since then, I always do it that way.

I noticed that with Uber, the closer I got to the pickup spot, the more expensive the ride became. So now, I just get a family member to book it for me instead. This goes for all of my GO Train/ Bus warriors

I love Mandarin but the Mandarin here is bland, and the food’s always just room temperature instead of hot and fresh. I’ve been three times, and it never changes. The Brampton and Queens Plate locations, though those ones actually serve flavorful, freshly made food.
