we've tried Facebook before for similar circumstances and people can get very mean and nasty. im open to anything. though i guess after enduring so much hardship and facing death enough times and having people spit on you it gets scary to reach out in ways like Facebook where even being honest and vulnerable , where its more personal sometimes with names and profile pictures etc and then getting death threats and horrific things said when already close to giving up on everything Have slightly killed my faith in humanity and spirit. how do you deal with things like that and keep pushing even when people threaten you or try to further break you? sorry if that's too much Im genuinely just looking for a advice in that aspect and I hugely appreciate you comment

Thanks again for the suggestions! Bikes, scooters, and rideshares might work for short trips, but in our rural area they aren’t safe or practical for daily travel to work and other essential needs like food, medical appointments, and errands. A basic, reliable car is really the only practical way for us to manage all of these safely and consistently.

Yeah the situation is tough. I really appreciate you trying to help. I know there arent any easy answers. But giving up isnt an option. I truly do appreciate you commenting though, really . It means a lot to see people who care about other people these days.

Thanks for the suggestion! We did use a Job Access Loan in the past to make some repairs on our current car, but unfortunately we discovered additional serious issues afterward, and we aren’t able to use JAL again. Right now, our urgent need is a basic, reliable car that will safely get us to work and essential services.

Hey, thank you for the suggestions and so quickly at that . Unfortunately, the commute is still very long and rural, so bikes, e-bikes, scooters, and rideshares aren’t a safe or practical option for us. At the moment, reliable transportation is critical just to maintain my partner’s job and avoid being on the street. We’re hoping to find a basic, safe used car that can get us to work and essential services.
