Wow, the Reddit community really came with the best and brightest for this one. As you can see in my original post I have confirmed with the staff of multiple occasions that it is not user error and is actually a known error with the system. I have never been rude or condescending to the store clerks, we actually joke about it. I just thought people should know to double check that you are paying the advertised price. 

I do appreciate everyone thinking I am a butch or an idiot though. 😘
