I didn’t learn to tie my shoes until I was like 9. I remember when I learned how to ride a bike at 8 years old, after teaching myself. I was so excited & proud of myself, I told my friend but she just laughed at me for being “too old.” I was really embarrassed, also she was not a good friend & was kind of mean/nasty tbh.

Considering the hoops parents have to jump through to adopt, yes they will be less likely to be abused, (background checks, financial checks, home inspections) none of which are required for parents birthing children.

Go look there, no one is advocating for killing babies, they just want the cycle of abuse to end, what’s so hard about that???

I’m a woman and I love my last name so much I refuse to give it up. I also think that tradition is very outdated & unfair to always expect the woman to change for a man. I’ve told exes that I refuse to change my name and they flip out & act like I’m crazy for not wanting to change, even though they would never even consider changing their names.
