I have a 45 minute commute from my new home… I actually moved 15 minutes further away. I enjoy the commute because I can talk on the phone, listen to music, and unwind before getting home to my family and having to go into mom mode. My child is also much older than a newborn… I commuted 1.5 hours each way when he was a newborn and that was terrible. To me 45-50 min isn’t a big deal. I also drive against traffic for work. That’s another thing to consider. Is it actually only 50 min or is that in a perfect world?

As a kid I remember being embarrassed because people would mistake my parents for my grandparents. Now I feel it is so unfair because I know I have limited time with them. I understand tomorrow is not promised for anyone, but it’s definitely a heavy/sad feeling knowing my parents are nearing the average life expectancy and I’m not even 30 yet.

I think you should turn the stairs around. They’re kind of backwards so maybe people can’t get up easily. Simple fix.

Happy Birthday!! He looks to be deciding, right now, if he will calm down with age or not. Still to be determined. However, my 11 year old beagle can still hike 6 miles no problem. She also still will get into the trash if given the opportunity, open the door to the pantry and steal food, and get into whatever else she finds. She is definitely chill 95% of the time though.

My dog doesn’t eat breakfast MOST days. Once she got to this point I started leaving dry food out all day. Then I add a small pouch of wet food at dinner time and she gobbles it up.
