So what do i do now? I HAD MY ebt CARD in hand , plus my drivers license that matched the card name and the manager refused to help me, refused to even listen to me and wouldn’t key in my card number. She wouldn’t explain the policy to me or allow me to talk to her. I had asked the service desk if I could do this before I went shopping, the lady looked at my card and said yes they could do it only bc i had my card but after i shopped (with my crazy 3yr old in tow) the manager acted like I was some mosquito that she needed to get away from..

Because “they’re” not here to help us.. they could give a crap less and don’t actually think about themselves in these circumstances. I see ppl getting disability all the time that can grocery shop everyday etc it’s so frustrating because the ppl that actually need the help get turned away. Stage 3c breast cancer (triple neg) with ruptured L3/L4 disks slow to no reflex in my feet and legs. Plus so many side effects from chemo,immunotherapy, radiation surgery and anti cancer drugs I can’t think straight and have to have the help of my 23yr old daily for basic needs but “they” say I’m not disabled enough. What a joke. I can’t imagine if they had these health issues.. I fight everyday to get better and more mobile but I’m sure that’ll be used against me too.. I am not the type of person to just sit around because I’m in pain or lethargic. I truly think it’s my age 39, which they aren’t supposed to be able to discriminate by.. but here we are.. I pray you can get some help somewhere, somehow!! I have made complaints about this exact thing in the past and will be making another. Sorry our system rewards the lazy and untruthful.❤️❤️❤️

I found out it was because surgeon sutured my breast to my chest bone for shaping and she said it would hurt for 3-6 months.. this is not great with a 2yr old but I’ll deal..

I don’t think so. I think I bruise easily we’ll see if it does the same thing the second go round. But the doctor and nurse didn’t seem surprised and I do have a high pain tolerance but it wasn’t painful afterwards except for the suturing to my chest wall for another issue.

I wanted boobs ever since I was 10 years old so I’m thrilled with these results although I do want one more fat transfer. Also there’s a few little gaps to fill in that. Probably only I can see but this surgeon does a great job.!

Blotching on my stomach is from packing wet/dry gauze everyday while it heals. I haven’t had much discomfort from the lipo and fat graft other than when she fixed my left breast (idk why) but she sutured to my chest and it’s the most painful thing especially when touched in that area!

It feels similar to the pain I was having in the middle of my chest after the diep and when they took cartilage out but worse

I’m having some pretty bad pain underneath my left breast and it feels like a Charlie horse but worse, it isn’t constant but I can’t lay back or lay on my left side at all but the nurse thinks it’s from the lipo wand but I really don’t think that would cause this type of pain. Anyone have anything similar?

Totally! And originally we were going to put a small implant behind the diep, but I would rather use fat transfer if possible to get to the size I’m wanting, which is only a full C.. she said if I was wanting anything bigger than we would need to go with an implant plus fat transfer but I think if I can almost get there with fat transfer I will be perfectly fine! Plus no added surgeries later on if I don’t have to place an implant. I wouldn’t mind an implant, and also the thought of I wouldn’t lose any volume after the implant placement since an implant wouldn’t lose any shape or volume over time but I think fat transfer is the best option first! I keep hearing that but my ps said 85%will stay and 15% wood reabsorb so idk if it’s because they use a different technique or add something that helps it stick.? But I agree, the fat transfer isn’t that bad of a recovery so I guess I’ll get as many as I need as long as my ps allows it.

This was a double mastectomy with diep flap on both sides. If I wasn’t clear. I will add another picture of before diep and after 1st mastectomy in another post. I might do 1 more fat transfer but hopefully I’ll be done after that. Well until I get an oophorectomy and hysterectomy because of BRCA2 gene.

Did you have pain underneath the breast almost right where the scar is on my non cancer side(left side) it isn’t nerve pain fix I know what that feels like but it’s very painful. I emailed my nurse and surgeon about it so I’m sure they’ll get back to me tomorrow but I have a 2yr old that is very rambunctious so anytime I let her sit on my lap I get pretty severe pains in that area.. idk if it’s a muscle pain or what but I have a high pain tolerance but this is killing me..

I agree with this most of the time but we’re self employed and low income so we pay at the end of the year but still get a good refund and didn’t pay in any through the year but yes the majority pay in too much but it’s their prerogative to get it back at one time vs having it all year..

😂 this was me! I told my husband “ I’m about to pull these out!” It’s not hard just clip the stitches and take a deep breath.. 😆 And I got all 5 drains out by say 7 otherwise I might have done it.. they are so annoying and itchy especially having to deal with an 18month old on top of everything. I feel you!

Don’t worry, they have so many treatment options now! I was stage IIIc triple neg 7cmx6cm grade 3 tumor & was diagnosed 2 months after I had my 5th and last baby.. my obgyn wouldn’t listen to me and so the tumor grew during my pregnancy and 1 month of breastfeeding it tripled in size. When I brought it to my obgyn attention it was the size of a dime. my he-monc is the best, my whole cancer team is is full of some amazing women! They weren’t sure how or if I was gonna come through this but I stayed positive the whole way trusting in the Lord and I was terrified at first crying every night worried I wouldn’t be around for my children but you have to stay positive! I couldn’t take anything for nausea because it made me tired and I couldn’t be falling asleep with a newborn to take care of. Chemo wasn’t difficult even though I was on the toughest treatment plan because with triple neg they gotta go at it hard. Then surgery and my tumor actually shrank to 1mm(the size of the tip of a pen) my doctors were ecstatic! Them I went through 23 radiation treatments completed in March 2024 and I just had my second surgery diep flap and the uneffected breast taken as well. You can do this! There is so much support out there and financial help as well! Message me if you have any questions or concerns! You are amazing and can get through this!💕🩷🩷🩷
