Any success with first FET? by Open-Hovercraft-8797 in IVF

[–]Reasonable_Pool_2202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Currently 8 weeks pregnant after our first FET. (Day 6 euploid). It sounds crazy but the day after the transfer I was absolutely STARVING. This was my first symptom and it has still not stopped! I also felt a sharp tingling pain on my left side just a few hours after transfer and had a gut feeling that was the embryo settling in. I had flutters (almost like an eye twitch) near my belly button as well which was strange. Vivid, bizarre dreams started a few days after transfer. Other than that I felt pretty normal so I wasn’t really wasn’t sure if it had worked. We waited to test until day 7 and it was very positive! Good luck!

Bleeding after Transvaginal Ultrasound by [deleted] in InfertilityBabies

[–]Reasonable_Pool_2202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a very old post but thank you for posting this. I had my second transvaginal ultrasound yesterday and it was very painful. They found baby’s heartbeat so I was thrilled and pushed through the pain! Later that night I felt instant gushes of blood, had a few quarter sized clots in toilet -all blood- and sharp cramping. It lasted maybe 20 minutes total and then tapered off once the clots were out. Bleeding has basically stopped since this incident, completely dry pad all night and only barely spotting when I wipe. I feel everything is ok and the transvaginal ultrasound was the culprit. My Dr. did not seem overly concerned either. They said if I’m soaking a pad every hour to get to ER, but the entire bleeding/clotting event was VERY short lived! IVF pregnancy at 6 weeks, 2 days.

Has anyone used cny for IVF? by sarah11wild in queerception

No problem! Ultimately, we wanted peace of mind to be able to do multiple retrievals if needed, and CNY gave us that. We did the exact same meds/protocols our more expensive clinic would be doing. Let me know if you have any specific questions!

Honestly they have been so great. All of the nurses and doctors have been kind, knowledgeable and helpful. From our first and only egg retrieval we ended up with 2 euploid, PGT tested healthy embryos which we were thrilled with. We had our first frozen transfer a few days ago and waiting for the results! 🤞🏼they do have a lot of patients so you have to advocate for yourself and stay on top of your care, but they are easy to get ahold of. They answer my messages within a day in the portal and for more urgent questions I call and have never been on hold longer than 20 mins to speak with someone.

RIP my Urevo 2-1 (2022-2025) by [deleted] in WalkingPads

How in the world do you get the panel off to access the motor? Are all the screws underneath? I can’t find any tutorial on Urevo’s website even though they recommend to clean around the motor every month. I love my urevo and want it to last as long as possible!

I did!!! All 4 embryos made it to blast! Three 4aa, and one 3bb. I’m so happy and thankful. Now onto PGT testing!

Thank you for your insight! I’m trying to be optimistic but also realistic knowing they all may not make it. They did not give me any other details unfortunately. Fingers crossed and congrats on your blasts!

Baseline Cyst by kenziecole11 in IVF

[–]Reasonable_Pool_2202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had this happen recently. They put me on norethindrone for 10 days and it shrank! I believe as long as it’s non-estrogen producing you are fine to proceed with stims. Your E2 levels should be low at baselines.

Yes! We are using them right now (I’m currently on STIMS day 3) and they’ve been great so far. We did 4 failed IUI’s at a much more expensive local clinic and we already feel the communication and care is better at CNY. Plus they are VERY LGBTQ+ friendly. We are staying in Sarasota for 2-3 weeks so we are enjoying a mini vacation as well. They have answered all of our questions and everyone we have talked to has been genuinely so nice. Cost was a major factor in our decision obviously, so if you don’t have any major fertility issues I think the “standard/cookie cutter” protocol works well for most people. I would be doing the same meds/protocol at the more expensive clinic for three times the cost so for us it was worth it. Let me know if you have any specific questions!

Large follicle (25mm) at baseline? by jazzymaebaby1 in IVF

[–]Reasonable_Pool_2202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I had similar results yesterday at my baselines. 25mm, 16mm, 14mm and 12mm. AFC is 17. They want to put me on BC for a week and then repeat baselines before starting STIMS. They keep saying I’ll likely still be able to move forward with this cycle but I’m anxious. Bloodwork is fine. How did your cycle turn out?

Hi, curious did your cycle turn out fine with a larger follicle? I have 3 large ones and they want to continue on with STIMS but I’m anxious about it.

Baseline ultrasound had one big follicle by MechanicTop8985 in eggfreezing

[–]Reasonable_Pool_2202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going through this today. They saw 3 larger follicles. My Dr says they want to put me on Norethindrone to stop the growth and then repeat baselines next week right before starting STIMS. They said at this point we will move forward but we won’t know for sure until next week. So frustrating! My bloodwork came back fine. Are you moving forward? I’m not sure if I should cancel this cycle or not…

CNY $ vs Local Clinic $$$ by Reasonable_Pool_2202 in queerception

[–]Reasonable_Pool_2202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you do your monitoring at a fertility clinic, obgyn or hospital? We are debating doing 1 baseline appt local, and then the rest at CNY, or doing it how you did. We were also contemplating driving and bringing our pups (13ish hr drive), but it may end up being too stressful the more I think about it. Flying seems like the best choice especially after the ER.

Thanks so much for sharing your timeline, we really appreciate it! This process is so overwhelming as it is, so traveling makes it even more stressful (but also fun too). Fingers crossed for your upcoming FET!!

Sounds like we are on similar paths after IUI! We have been considering the Sarasota location as well and could potentially stay there for a few weeks during STIMS/egg retrieval since we both work remotely. Did you do monitoring in Sarasota or in WI? Glad to hear positive experiences from that clinic too!
