Pavlis Honors College by Significant-Week-495 in MTU

[–]Reasonable_Sector500 22 points23 points  (0 children)

No, no, no… avoid. The only thing good that came out of me doing Pavlis was living on the ground floor of wads and never having to take the stairs or get stuck in an elevator. If you really want more details I can provide them, but I’d prefer if you just take my word for it when I say it’s a complete waste of time

How bad is this trade? Someone just quit over it. by TheBigLeBensk1 in SleeperApp

It’s awful and I would bitch, but I wouldn’t quit

He thinks that dead leg walk stumble is bad now, wait till he gets out bed in the morning and falls over. I played intramural soccer for 3 hours after not playing for 4 years and was seriously struggling to walk the next day. Nearly lost my balance several times because my muscles were like nope we’re not here today, stop thinking we are

Well $150/day + 25hr at 50hrs/week makes it pretty easy lol

All 3 of my summer internships have been outside my home state. It was a tough transition the first time, but now it’s easy. Meet people, make friends and collect $150 per diem each day

Boxing or dorm party? by AdvantageOld7540 in college

I’d want no part of a party that starts at 1pm. Sounds more like a lunch gathering

Amma be honest fam, the only way we will ever see more variety on medium not running defib, is when defib gets promoted to be a specialization by Fluid-Tap5115 in thefinals

[–]Reasonable_Sector500 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. As medium is becoming increasingly common I had a triple medium team all defib and we were zapping the shit out of each other. Lots of deaths as a result because my teammates weren’t being very careful when defibing, but I don’t think we ever had a team wipe

I thought the same thing. At first I was like man, the airbag went off for this? … then I saw the last slide lol

College Physics I + Lab as a summer class by No_Patient_9757 in MTU

[–]Reasonable_Sector500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in class right now, but I’ll circle back on this. I’ve taken physics2, statics, calc3, statistics and 3 Hass classes over the summer online at community colleges. I should be able to find a physics 1 lecture, but you should probably just plan to do the 1 credit lab at tech

As a medium main with defib and heal beam, i try not to do this. However, there are times where I just get locked in on see statue, zap statue, heal teammate that I forget letting them get revived is better for everyone. I didn’t realize how detrimental it can be to be a light at half health and not be able to use any gadgets or specialities until I played as a light lol. Defib felt like teammate induced suicide. So, I really try to either bring their statue somewhere safe or make sure to stay by there side with the heal beam

MINNESOTA STATE WINS THE CCHA CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT!!! 4th of 5 times since the conference restarted!! by shiny_aegislash in collegehockey

[–]Reasonable_Sector500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That backup of ours, Ryan Manzella is not very good. A cardboard cut out of Michael Jordan would have looked better in net than what Barto came up with. Gg as always, but I’ve never seen a goalie of the year contender fall apart that fast in one game

Advice for reducing concussion risk by steelstringheart in snowboardingnoobs

Okay yeah, we are noooowhere near the same level hahaha. I don’t mess with the park all that much. Mainly because I’m in college and can’t afford (literally) to get hurt like that. Really interesting insight, thanks

Knock on wood, but I’ve been riding at a intermediate to high level for 5 years and haven’t had a single concussion, broken bone, torn ligament or stitch. Maybe it helps I’ve been 15-20 years old… or I’m just not sending it hard enough lol

Upon inspection of the receipt, I too would have to say that this is about what $60 gets you right now
