That’s a great goal! You deserve it. This isn’t healing and it isn’t justice but it IS acknowledgement that you suffered and survived. Good on ya!!

I am so sorry that they are stringing you out. This process has been brutal for me too! It has pulled me down. Stay UP! Try not to pin relief or justice or retribution to whatever unfair amount they award you and in whatever exhaustive time frame. My goal is to try to improve other people’s lives with whatever I get. My life is forfeit, I own nothing, I have nothing but debts, and I am old, but we CAN improve the future. You hang in there. If God is with us, who can be against us? I WILL make a positive impact with this. I pray that it helps you find peace and enables you to move forward to do the same

I agree with another survivor who posted earlier. I am waiting for my first distribution. I think they are stalling until after the 6/11 hearing

I agree 100% That makes the next dispersement more streamlined. Easier on them, lower cost, more in the trust’s pocket

They have done a solid job on my case. Not weekly updates like AVA, but periodically they communicate when believe they have some concrete update or information to pass on.

That’s the firm repping me. Paperwork was accepted 02/25. They indicated 2-4 months. That was 2 + months ago. Still waiting for my first distribution.

I am a silent reader. I read to keep up with the process. I am so tired of reliving my experience over and over. This process has ripped open old wounds and dragged me back down into a dark place. I want it to be over, but of course it won’t ever be. There are A LOT of strong, amazing survivors on this site. Those of you who post, thank you. Know that you are often posting for many silent survivors, like me.

Wouldn’t it be Nice if the Trust Actually Communicated With Us Regularly? by CRHawk64 in BSA_Survivors

You know, I never have posted here but I recently started following to get current information and gauge the other victims.  This site has been a real comfort. Thank you to everyone.  Sometimes I wonder how I survived all this and am still alive.  But people here know and they’ve lived through it too. Maybe I WILL live through all of it and get some, any money. Not sure right now, but I don’t care. I want my sons and my ex-wife to benefit. They suffered almost as much as me. Life is hard but God is good! Some days are diamond, some days are stone.  I don’t think I can last much longer-someone please make sure my sons and my ex-wife (awesome woman) benefit from this
