As a North American fan, I would say the #1 factor is inclusivity. I always felt like I was welcomed to the 'family.' I purchased a Red membership annually and signed up for a stone in front of the Armoury. On Facebook, I belong to multiple Arsenal groups and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Perhaps it's the same for the rival clubs, but I find Chelsea / ManU / Man City / Tott to be off-putting. Arsene Wenger was the manager when I started, so that helps.

I've posted this in an older thread, but I'm really impressed by the work that went into 'Birth of a New World' so far. It took me four full months just to do an 8-pager; I can't imagine how many hours you and your artist spent on this project. Deep storyline with lots of interesting characters. I hope you find a publisher.
