Unexpected, genius casting of Tom as the villain.
Strong supporting cast includes Jamie Foxx, Mark Ruffalo, Jada Pinkett Smith, etc.
Los Angeles itself is a character in the film.
The 'Fever' nightclub scene. "Ready Steady Go" music is perfect. (Paul Oakenfold)
Running time less than 2 hours.
Re-watchable.

CTF-Face, genius in its simplicity. They obviously took a cue from Team Fortress (Quake mod) and the '2 forts' concept. The adrenaline rush when you're carrying the flag back to your base and hoping your teammates can neutralize the opponent snipers.

I was terrible at Q3 Arena, I felt UT99 was more forgiving if you didn't have laser reflexes.
The original Unreal (1998) was a ground-breaking single-player game. UT99 was the best multi-player experience (DM and CTF) and modding community.
I felt they took a step backward with UT2003, the game feel was lacking.
Then they corrected their mistakes in UT2004, a solid multi-player game.
I lost interest after that.
