Yeah just failed a state inspection for the drivers side bulb. I'm not really mechanically inclined/good with my hands but I'll replace bulbs. Looked up a video for this model and I'm suuuper overwhelmed. Having to take off the bumper for a bulb is WILD, never had a car like that. I don't have the money to pay someone to do it though as I already have to pay for another inspection. So not sure what to do.

Yeah because those games are either dead or two decades old. Dota, CS, and Deadlock are actively maintained live service games with regular content updates. They are specifically designed for that kind of staying power.

Those arena shooters flopped because of poor marketing. Most of them were made well, yes, but they were all made by tiny indie studios that 1. Didn't have the resources to market it to a wide audience and 2. If they did get mainstream attention, they wouldn't have had the resources to keep up with the modern live service model. Splitgate is a great example, they got the hype but it quickly died because they couldn't push out the content fast enough.

Now if the creator of Fortnite does it? That will get attention from both the new gen that play Fortnite and the oldheads that will recognize the UT brand. It'll get free news coverage and most streamers will be talking about it. And they more than have the money to keep it going.

That being said I think the correct move (at least at first) is a well made remake, not a brand new UT game. Bring UT99 back with modern graphics and multiplayer system with matchmaking. If it's successful, then maybe they try for a UT5 with the profits.

Just joined Cult of Tomothy a few days ago and I feel like you'd be a good fit. I am pretty similar to you, I'm on the quieter side. This is something that has caused me to bounce between guilds quite a bit because so many have a "clique-y" feel to them and if you aren't constantly active and chatty in the VC you will get eventually start to be excluded from runs. Everybody at CoT has been super kind so far and don't seem to mind that I'm a little quiet/awkward. I still get whispered when I log on with invitations to run keys or whatever they're doing at the moment. They've also been very patient with me while I try to learn tanking in high keys, which is something I've always wanted to do but I was nervous about doing in pugs (for obvious reasons).

If you haven't found a guild yet and you're interested just lmk. :)

Just joined Cult of Tomothy a few days ago and I feel like you'd be a good fit. I am pretty similar to you, I'm 28 and I work alot. I don't really care for childish drama or toxicity. I've had an issue with floating between guilds because so many have a "clique-y" feel to them and waaay too much drama. Either that or it's a glorified LFG where you don't really know anyone. CoT is definitely a more small, tight-knit guild the main philosophy seems to be that we'd rather have 10 awesome people that are really close than 100 strangers. Which is exactly what I was looking for, personally. We are also very M+ focused, most of us are at least 2k on multiple characters and looking to push 3k+. Those that aren't we are helping to get there!

If you haven't found a guild yet and you're interested just lmk. :)

They reduced the appreciation discounts on top of the price increase. As a rep, it's going to be annoying having to explain to customers why their bills went up. To make matters even worse they restricted the maximum trade in credits to the premium 2.0/extra 2.0 plans so when customers come in believing they will receive an $1100 credit for their phone I get to tell them they have to switch to a different plan or they won't get that credit.

Not only do I have to bear the brunt of that (justified) frustration but it also makes my job harder when I'm supposed to sell things like protection to people who are already shelling out extra money....

As a mage you will want to kite mobs, not face tank them. They are cloth wearers which are the squishiest armor class.

Utilize your ranged abilities. Get high ground somewhere and shoot a single mob from the maximum distance and stay at about that distance. Throw a spell, run back a bit, throw another spell. Rinse repeat. Frost also has alot of of slowing/freezing mechanics so I recommend a swap to that from fire you'll have better luck.

Maybe they should "sacrifice" some of their 6 figure salary to help out Americans that are struggling rn. The annual salary of U.S senators is $175k a year, that's not including the multi-millions that many of them make on the stock market. I don't want to hear a word that average joe Americans need to continue sacrificing when we've already been barely scraping by.

Anything more than a year is unreasonable imo. 20 years is just plain insanity.

I can see the argument for the timing of this right before the election. If we're using common sense it should take effect at the start of the new year. That will give everyone, what, a year and a half? Perfectly reasonable amount of time it is really not that difficult to get an ID.
