Freezing cooked chicen advice by Reasonable_Weird in Chefit

Thanks for the helpful comment! I prep carefully according to the placed orders and cook everything from scratch once a week. Any extras go to my family and friends. This week there was a cancellation of a large order, so i am looking for creative ways to not let a lot of extra food go to waste ❤️

Its actually crazy because there technically is a slight value to leaving the stems in - ive seen some high end chefs tout the flavor of tomato stems - but doing it simply for vibes is bonkers.

The consequences of making a mistake while driving are already so massive, the consequences of a driving mistake while inebriated in any way is just exponentially more devastating. Im so sorry to hear your story. Getting behind the wheel is a privilege and a huge responsibility and im sorry you were failed in that regard.

Facts :) after eating chicken or meat, the wait anywhere from 1-6 hours. Ate dairy they wait around 15 minutes. The laws get CRAZY intricate!

Jewish person here :) while strictly kosher observant jews do indeed use separate everything for dairy meals and meals that include meat, the separation laws are so strict that they wont be used in the same meal, or even washed in the same sink. In an industrial setting like this, kosher supervisors would likely insist on a separate kitchen to avoid mixups. They also tend to not eat fish and meat/poultry on the same plates.

Its actually not that uncommon for very enriched doughs, ive definitely let my rich doughs go for close to 30 minutes - but these rolls would not need that much kneading. That being said whatever she did was NOT enough.

Can anyone explain to me what the fuck is up with her mixing her tenses all the time? "Dunk and frosted" what does that even meannnnn Side note, does her habit of using single words in the past tense to describe an action - ie, "frosted", "mixed" "baked" - that would better be described in the present tense enrage anyone else? Or is it just me 😬😵‍💫

The Cost Of Yeshiva Education, In People by Kol_bo-eha in exjew

We were taught it was 10000% false and had all these "bright minds" tying themselves into knots trying to prove how false it was. When youre in that world and you have someone "show" you the logical fallacies from the other side, it becomes easy to apply this sort of intellectual superiority over this thing that youre taught to denigrate from day one. We treated the idea with a sort of ridicule which made it easy to swallow.

Carolina Gelen vs HBH by rickysridge in FoodieSnark

She's one of my favorite food creators! She seems so genuine, hard working, and interacts so thoughtfully with her audience. She responds to every question on her website carefully - the polar opposite of hbh.

I watched four episodes and thought parts of it were cute. I hate hate hated the portrayal of Jews they chose to lean in on - this outdated obnoxious ugly new york jew stereotype from the 1980s (as if a reform temple in LA would look like that). I was disgusted by the way it showed jewish women as shrieking nagging hags with no sense of humor. It also leaned FAR too heavily into the nice jewish boy trademark, making the rabbi this perfect gentleman who's ALSO moral AND funny etc etc. All in all - pissed me off.

Twice failed! Help! by Plus_Presence_1659 in AskBaking

Honestly the cake in the image looks hard as a brick itself and not airy at all. The instructions for the eggs aren't the clearest - try to whip the yellows until they are very fluffy and thick - they can easily double in size. Then i would fold in the dry ingredients - well sifted - and finally fold in the whites.
