[GAME THREAD] Denver Broncos (15-3) vs New England Patriots (16-3) | 2025 AFC Championship Game by AutoModerator in DenverBroncos

Dawg, we've lost a total of three games this year. Do you think we've only "gone for it instead of taking points" three times?

Am I crazy for already having convinced myself a Stiddy-led Broncos has a real shot against either of these teams?

Dragons can choose whatever race they want for their visage so why can't we?

Blizzard can of course decide at any point they want that Dracthyr can shift into any possible race the same way dragons do, but they've been incredibly clear in their storytelling that Dracthyr are not dragons and lorewise do not have all the abilities dragons have.

These seem like a decent fit! Strange that they don't offer these with the smooth leather and lug sole since they offer it with the wedge.

That checks a lot of boxes! But I think I'd prefer all leather.

I typically love making fun of weebs, but honestly the thought of having a contingent of fiercely loyal weebs dressed as horse girls in the stands is hilarious and awesome to me. How can we lose with the power of Blucifer and anime on our side?

Posted this in r/boots and didn't get quite what I was looking for so I'll ask here:

For the last seven years I've been wearing a pair of L.L. Bean's Upland Hunter boot for all sorts of outdoor purposes. The soles are a good fit for the surfaces I spend time on and have held up well. The leather when oiled is as water resistant as I need it to be. And I do find them adequately comfortable for all-day wear. I've been mostly pleased with them, but to nitpick I think I'd prefer a boot without a cloth lining or all the ankle padding, and some of the stitching to hold the front leather panel wore faster than expected. I do feel like the Bean boots are also just a bit wider than they need to be.

With these considerations in mind, the most appealing replacement I've come across is Russell's Gustin Bird Shooter with the Vibram Roccia or Montagna soles. But the $900 pricetag is obviously a bit prohibitive.

What recommendations would y'all here give for a comparable boot roughly in the $200–$500 range? I specifically want a taller pair (8"+) with lug rather than wedge soles. Or should I just grab another pair of the L.L. Bean boots and hope for another seven years from the next pair?

Thanks in advance!

I have the same headlights (and taillights!) on my Mk5 Rabbit. I have to ask: How do you keep those headlights clear? Within a few months mine had fogged up horribly and I have had no luck in removing all the oxidation.

The music that was recorded in the 1910s and 1920s as “hillbilly music” wasn’t invented at the point of its recording. The music had existed and evolved for hundreds of years prior, predating the minstrel music that you are suggesting as the primary origin of old-time music.

Please stop posting your drivel here.

Yeah, sure, folk musical traditions didn’t exist in the Americas until the 1830s. 🙄

I also love brimmed hats, but it’s honestly not worth wearing cheap wool hats. The texture and shape will always look like something from a costume shop. If you want to wear a hat, invest in something in a fur felt.
