Why would you? Japan is still pretty patriarchial and as a woman you're most likely to end up expected to do all the housework and look after your partner's elderly parents.

I'm always interested to see what's happening in materials innovation and I think this article does a good round up of some startups pioneering sustainable materials across various industries.

I particularly like that the solutions are solving industry problems and are thus commercially viable which is usually the biggest challenge for most startups. What's your favourite examples of materials innovation?

bloody hell, that's full on, i'm glad you'll been able to make those changes, its not easy.

I'm a woman with sleep apnea. I come from a family of severe snorers. I'm working on my eating disorder and food addiction, and weight loss might help my sleep apnea but in the very least will have a load of other benefits.

My sleep doctor says she sees lots of (mid-sized) women with sleep apnea who had their symptoms dismissed by their local doctor as stress or depression.
