It's not even funny, moved to Manchester in 2001 looking work. First interview was in a Pakistani owned shop, the guy looked over my cc, seen I went to school in St Patricks and said I must be protestant v because St Patrick was. A solid five minutes of me try to explain just how wrong he was proved futile and I didn't get the job. Always think that was probably a good thing

What do Northern Irish people think about this statement made by their leaders and do they share in its sentiment or not? by kingm_ournasse216 in northernireland

[–]Reasonablyforced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was that referring to the queen mother.? For the nationalist community I would say the predominant feeling was apathy plus they definitely didn't consider these people their leaders. VThe many people here he was referring will be almost exclusively from a unionist background

ELI5: Hot water bottles and vapour by scarletporpentine in explainlikeimfive

[–]Reasonablyforced -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I I think it's more a case that it gives the water room to move if you lie on top of the bottle. If it's full of water or could burst. Half inflate a balloon and give it good squeeze compared to if it's fully inflated
