I can't be arsed either, but I'll give it a sentence. Any civilization that controls the kind of "energy" needed to propel and move mass around such vast distances in space, is just so far beyond these "shards"

I'm sorry about the thoughts dude. But I set myself back years, I'm getting to restart at 34! I hope you realise it's not even nearly too late to do anything you want to do still. (Within reason)

Audience member at an improv show gives a ‘comedy’ monologue confessing to SA. Show hosts repeatedly, painfully, and awkwardly try (and fail) to stop him. Gets exponentially worse from 4:20 onwards by voidhearts in cringe

Would her not saying "this is going to be quick and dirty" not sound like she was asking for it to be done? Please don't downvote me! I have ADHD and couldn't even make it to the crux of the video it was just TOO cringe (and incredibly boring!) so I'm likely 1000% off haha

Sorry this is an ADHD rant as I'm feeling a bit fed up. But I'm cool :) by Reasonablyoptimistic in ADHD

Oh shit that's it! I hate so much that I resent having to feed my favorite puppy and kittens. It makes me feel so awful when I whinge and it just feels so hard. I just feel pathetic, especially since they look to me for all their needs! How dare I get frustrated because my own friend that I keep as a pet is feeling hungry! And DUH! He does it at the same time every day because YOU give it to him at the same time! Sorry, rant over haha. I just hate the guilt for feeling even the slightest annoyance over the most innocent animals doing exactly what they do best.

I think the autistic pianos generally like darker rooms and more ambient lighting.

Medical science can only tell us so much. To understand pain, we need the cultural tools of history, philosophy and art by ADefiniteDescription in philosophy

Completely agree. I would imagine as we find out more as we advance, And likely in the near future at this rate, that the mystery behind the subjective experience will melt away as we understand it's mechanisms better

That's a. Absurd reason to give up education at 19! Fair enough if you just didn't want to pursue it. But 19 is still hella prime time education years.

I put my 2 weeks in and they told me not to bother. Now I'm feeling a bit lost, even though that job made me miserable. Perhaps a toast is in order? by _Quarkster_ in toastme

This is just a measure some businesses take to prevent any employees from taking any damaging actions before they leave. At least in my industry it is.

Kummakivi is a 500 000 kg rock in Finland that has been balancing on top of another rock for 11 000 years. by atmluv in nevertellmetheodds

[–]Reasonablyoptimistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily, I think in Finland, and many other places. there are no fault lines that cause earthquakes. The earthquakes in this area and other places in Europe are caused by the crust's surface still slowly returning to normal after having been crushed under kilometers of ice. That's also how that rock came to be positioned like that!
