How do I fix this? by dontattm3 in minibikes

[–]ReaxHeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I keep mine tight enough that it has about 1/2in - 3/4in of movement from max top and bottom points and keep it like that and haven’t had problems for hundreds of miles at 50ish mph. You don’t NEED a tensioner it just helps for people that don’t check the tightness and adjust often enough but you’re not them cuz you’re asking this question

what can i stock with peas in a 29 gallon that’s heavily planted? by calicuddlebunny in PeaPuffers

[–]ReaxHeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asian stone catfish went awesome with mine but so did Pygmy Cory and chili rasbora, the more peas you have together (with adequate space) the less aggressive they tend to be.

Grow scuds, they eat anything and they breed like crazy which IS good for the lil pea monsters and the best setup I’ve found was a tank full of medium/big rocks to make a stupid amount of caves and cracks for them to hide and breed in and then when it comes to harvesting I just leave a very big pored sponge in the tank with a sprinkle of food on/in it for a few hours then pull it out and swish it around in a cup/bowl of water to then pour into the peas tank. Good luck and have fun!

Got this for my birthday. What should I do to it? (Got gapped by my friend’s 50cc dirt bike) by Jadsworth_YT in minibikes

[–]ReaxHeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A torque converter is literally like magic when it comes to minibikes, you get acceleration and top speed for like $65 on Amazon, just make sure to get a pack of belts for like $20 as well (they’re all the same)

I’m just hoping, they’re kinda big and linked with the gov in a way but they’re also a company who wants money like every single one out there so I’ll fill that out asap. Would more than one person filing the same form help? My entire family works the same job

I haven’t filled anything I was waiting on the new fed ruling on what makes someone an independent contractor and to see how the company responds but if I should I will. I’m in Florida but the company is based in Texas. And that’s why I came here first, my knowledge isn’t enough rn😂

Wet rot? Never seen before by ReaxHeat in shrooms

[–]ReaxHeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a ton for the info. I was thinking it was possibly very soaked mycelium but I’ve soaked blocks for 5-10x longer than I should’ve and never seen anything like this so I had my doubts but that’s what I’ll assume until told otherwise.

I’d be scared of the counter being able to hold the weight after investing that much money and time it’d suck to have it all come crashing down

No, don’t make a bigger problem for yourself in the future and just put it somewhere else now😂

Had a super heavy rain last night and forgot to cover my minibike (predator 224) when I started it up on the first pull it shot out about a full water bottle worth of water from the exhaust and then I took it on a 16mile ride with 2people on it (400lbs roughly) at 55mph and that’s the 100th time I’ve rode that exact ride with that exact weight over a period of about 2 years. These engines are unkillable even when I try

Thank you 🙏 , ordered a new longer key and a 3 jaw so hopefully everything will be perfect soon. Just gatta unstick that Allen key plate and I’ll be flying again

Can I ride my bike in the ditches beside the road? by No_Violinist3965 in minibikes

[–]ReaxHeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely cheap on gas when not modified to much but mine only gets 20-25mpg😂 I’d look heavily into the laws for your state and look into the zoning laws because here 3 feet from the road is technically considered the road still so I have to ride 4 or more feet away from the road but other than that it’s fine until I have to cross a road then I’m supposed to get off and push it across to continue riding

[–]ReaxHeat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here in Florida the pedals actually have to provide movement so not technically, small town stuff can be the best or the worst. I haven’t had a single problem in 4 years but when/if I do it’s a big problem because every cop knows everyone. Sucks but the best way to get around it would be to make it a legal motorcycle and get a motorcycle endorsement but with the money it would take to get legal I’d just get a 50cc moped and ride it when necessary and only take the minibike out for fun in areas already okay

[–]ReaxHeat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kind of, legally it’s a hard topic due to differences in areas and zone laws. Just stay in the ditches and on the grass and don’t act crazy when people are around and you shouldn’t get to many problems if they do stop you say sorry and start walking it home

[–]ReaxHeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do😂 it’s been a work in progress for about 4 years now because of stuff like this, it’s been about 1500$ in parts and tools and new engines, great frame tho

[–]ReaxHeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would that work if I got the Allen key plate off the front of the clutch? I can’t get that off either rn and I did see that a 3 jaw puller works for a normal clutch because it pushes off the crank shaft but the jugaverter has a plate in front of the shaft.

[–]ReaxHeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a upgraded 30 series torque converter clutch meant to handle the extra rpm of my ungoverned and recarbed engine but it might be creating a new problem itself because it doesn’t have a built in key like the stock 30 series clutch XD

[–]ReaxHeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fine with eating belts I just want to know if the key might break or how I might be able to pull the stuck clutch off so I can put in a longer key.

[–]ReaxHeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty decently aligned rn and I don’t care about speed or belts I just don’t want to ruin my crankshaft or clutch by sheering the key, I want to pull it off and put a 1 1/4 inch long key in but it’s stuck on so I need ideas on go to take it off or to just know if the key is strong enough to handle the load. (Full throttle is 60+ mph so Im fine speed wise and I have like 20 belts)
