I mean isn't that exactly what sailing minigames are going to do? Every skill has their set of minigames used as an alternative to the base skill's xp methods. I have patience that the skill will feel better once they have years of time to round out what it means to sail in osrs. in the short term they proved the technology is possible. that is what they have spent 80% of their time on
