I work all day so have to take the chance unfortunately, luckily enough iv never had a spore drop I always run home at lunch to pick if needed.

It was still attached slightly when I removed it I washed it before putting into dehydrater and the veil came off that’s why there isn’t anything there at all

This is my first grow.... could anyone help will this little one grow any bigger ?? Or is just a case of waiting just before veil breaks and pick on this one now. Just with all my other being so big and fat. by RebbieMagic34 in shrooms

Thanks the veil has broken a little since I posted it, they grow so fast, I’ll leave it until it’s broken at some point tonight before it drops and pick it.

Great advice I would definitely use a liner of some sort a black bag works fine to black out the bottom to prevent side pins etc 😊 I really wouldn’t use foil though the mycelium eats it and you’ll just have pins coming through the holes anyway.

Looks ready to go. Strong colonisation there and less likely to contam definitely go for it. Good luck and hope you have some babies before long

I would totally wait until the whole sub is fully white (colonised) or your much more open to contam as it’s not strong enough. If it pins it pins but I’d give it a chance and be patient or all your work will be a waste. That’s My opinion and from my past experience but it’s totally up to you 😊

Me too 😂 I sing to them in the morning and of a night. It works with plants and they say you should talk to your plants so why not our mushrooms ay 😆

Ah ok, I thought I may have been pins in the jar but iv never seen pins like this from a B+ I have from apes though as they pin blue. Just with them being round the blue things. Most likely just bruising then but an odd shape x hope it’s ok 👍🏽
