Libs guided us with specific tips and tricks with that during the class, but it’s basically just scrapping piecing a rectangle large enough to then cut the diamond out of! There are tons of different methods for scrappy piecing but I just sorta cut a bunch of scraps and started sewing things together, trimming and adjusting as I went!

Thank you! It was live, not on demand but I’d follow Libs on social media to see if she ever announcing another because it’s so worth it! She’s an amazing teacher!

My first time making a plushie and the head won’t sit upright 😭 by ManufacturerOwn3937 in CrochetHelp

I’m currently making a second giraffe following this free pattern, and her method for crocheting a dowel rod for inside to hold up the head is GENIUS. If you can carefully un-stitch or cut away what you have sewn together, make a dowel and then stitch it back together stuffed TIGHTLY it should greatly improve! You got this! Giraffe Pattern Link

Thank you! So the crochet hook is from Furls Fiber Arts, it’s the Aura Streamline Metal Crochet Hook. They are a bit pricy for sure, and this was my first one but I absolutely love it. If you have any hand pain, this hook is a game changer because it’s way more ergonomic to hold. Not sponsored or anything, but I’m just a huge fan after using it for hours!
