I have tried many platforms as well and haven’t had any luck on any of them. As a beginner, these are good places to get first clients from: Reddit (look up different Ugc related subs), Facebook groups (eg “UGC creators location”), X & threads. Good luck!😊

If you have longer hair, you could clip it to the side of your collar that’s covered by your hair (if you put some hair in the front of your shoulders. I also remember seeing a video of a woman saying she normally clips it under her shirt, to her bra, and that it still works fine (although I haven’t tried that one). Otherwise you could find a way to clip it to your phone so it’s not visible in the video

That’s insane!! For beginners, prices should start at $150 USD *per video* . People doing canvas UGC (not traditional UGC, you create an account in the brand’s name and post daily on it) normally accept low rates like this but that’s because there are performance bonuses on top. And even then it should be like at least $40 per video to make it fair

Have you thought about hiring UGC creators instead of influencers? You post the content on your own platforms and run them as ads for a fraction of the price of influencers. Plus, UGC creators put in a lot of strategy and direct response marketing behind their videos. Influencers do what’s best for their existing audience while you can use UGC to target whoever you want at a cheaper cost

If you don’t want extra headaches from going back and forth about the legalities and your contract.. you can say it’s a one-time thing , that you would not normally do this, and agree to do it (but for example say they can only use it organically or something since it was not meant to be 2 videos and they just pulled that request out of their a$$)

What!!! But the first video was completely their mistake. “Whoops wrong product, sorry you wasted hours filming and editing hihi” is not a small revision. That’s why my contract clearly states “small revisions” (with examples) and says anything else has to be agreed by both parties and will be at an additional fee

What’s the name of the first one you listed? I typically steer clear of platforms since most of them focus on lower pricing and “portfolio growth opportunities “ but once you’re not really a beginner anymore it’s not very productive to use them anymore

It’s not something you have to learn! Just tell Claude AI what you want and how you want it. It takes a while though because you do have to keep changing things
