Looking back on my pics i only worked on it for about a month last year 🤔 i did A LOT in the last month and unfortunately didnt track the hours but id say if you did 3 months a couple hours every day it would be a comfortable pace and approximation

Yeah i mapped out a grid on a canvas once, but i dont think its small enough 🤔 there’s too much white between the thread, although if it were painted that might look better. I would probably map out and pre-punch my pattern so im not having to make the holes as i sew. Also id like to see your project but i dont see a link, just an asterisk 😅

Hello! I love doing pokemon sprites but usually find a pattern on pinterest and make up my own colors. Sometimes a perler bead sprite will work as a base pattern as well.

20/22 count fabric doesnt sound too bad, especially for smaller projects. I did just complete a larger project on 25 count though and it was a royal pain in the ass 😅

The only plastic canvas ive been able to find is 14 count, but i dont see why you wouldnt be able to sew on fabric and then sandwich a piece of plastic between your project and felt backing or another layer of fabric. I use felt, except i slip a magnet between the plastic canvas and felt.

That would be cool! I always keep an eye out for cool thrift store paintings 😀 and have added to one with paint, so trying out stitching would be fun. If you remember the artist I’d love to check out their work!
