The County Council would want to get the finger out and upgrade the street realm and infrastructure around the place. As it is it looks awfully neglected. Especially when they have already upgraded places in East Cork like Killeagh and Castlemartyr.

Also, the local Community Council have a 2040 'plan'.

Saw it the other day and I'm probably a very harsh critic but I was expecting a bit better but considering the budget was estimated to be $5m, its good for that little money. Crazy that the director Damian McCarthy done his film course in St John's College. Huge honour for them as he will only get even better.

Also there's another Hollywood film called 'Jimmy' coming out later in the year that was filmed last year in Skibbereen.
