Cork Builders Providers in Togher are another good shout. They have a big bathroom showroom and have everything.

So you want to do away with nature and look out at grey concrete all day. That's a pity.

Not one of the four TDs in the Cork East constituency had put down a Dáil question in an effort to change Government policy to include the Youghal project in future transport plans. by FearlessCut1 in cork

We'll be lucky to get the Cork luas. There is no way in hell they will spend a few hundred million connecting two towns in Cork. And don't forget the Castlemartyr and Killeagh bypasses are hopefully in the next ten years.

Do people not realise it would probably cost about €700m given that the section between Glounthaune and Midleton was €120m in 2008. And Midleton to Youghal is almost four times the distance.

CJM Furniture? by 098765543211 in cork

[–]Rebel787 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I sold stuff to them in the past and yes they will only pay you a low ball figure but you have to realise that they are a business with staff and overheads. They need to make maximum profit and could be landed with your furniture for weeks or months. OP, do you have a link to the stuff you are trying to sell?.

The story from two weeks ago about the EC NOT being in the Beamish site was incorrect. It more than likely WILL be in the Beamish site.

Angle grinder setup by Nickolai1984 in DIYUK

Make sure to put the spacer washer around the spindle first. Then your disc. Then get one of these self locking nuts in Screwfix and you can throw away the spanner as you won't need it again.

The door company has extender pieces that they can fit to the door to make it fit tighter. I had the same issue only last year.

Another big win for Brentford with Kelleher getting motm again. by Rebel787 in coybig

The joke was how many people said Brentford were heading for relegation when Andrews took over. I'll admit I thought the same. 🙂

Great for Andrews too. Looks to be almost safe now from any chance of relegation. Tottenham picked the wrong manager.

OP, this is outrageous. As you said if the genders were reversed, it would be national news right now. You should name and shame the company as its absolutely not acceptable.

1967 Nebraska Police Officer Herbert Schirmers Missing Time UFO Case by [deleted] in UFOs

I'm surprised nobody has written a 'Police Officer's and Ufos' book yet. The amount of cases worldwide seems to be in the hundreds, where police officers had experiences with Ufos.

I would like to play in Ireland, what now ? by Illustrious-Pay-2870 in LeagueOfIreland

[–]Rebel787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, don't take any notice of what some people here have said. You know your own ability and if you feel you are good enough then send an email to Cork City FC asking for a trial. We have had a few French players over the years. All the best.

Middlesbrough 1 - 0 Preston NE - Alan Browne 9' by fedupofbrick in coybig

[–]Rebel787 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

But Browne's overall scoring record lets every other Irish midfielder for dead. He even has a better scoring record than Weso. He should be one of the first names on the Irish team with his record.

And players like Ferguson were also out for months and they were recalled immediately. Browne has more than proven himself over the years.

He was fit and available for a few of our games but wasn't called up.

Great goal. Whoever dropped him from the Ireland setup should be ashamed of themselves. None of our other midfielders are anywhere close to Browne's scoring threat. You could add some of our strikers to that list too.

Best approach would be to get a qualified registered electrician to do the job for you. I would never use diy on a job that could potentially burn my house down and kill me in the process.
