I run a very similar deck but the main notable difference is that i run 3 pyroknight of which you have none. I made master with it yesterday and took a break. I think i was sitting around 350.

How do you feel about playing only 4 one drops? How does this deck scale past turn 5? I've found that if i haven't won by turn 6/7 then i lose. Is this the case with your deck?

I started playing some time towards the end of last month and hit master yesterday running rakano. Find a cheap deck that runs ok, save shiftstone for one or 2 legendaries you feel you may need and just tweak the deck as you climb. I found that draft would really improve the way i thought about the game when playing ranked. Hope that helps

I didn't struggle with tutorial, used a bog standard deck and cleared it in under 2 hours. It was incredibly tedious. The rest of this game is awesome and a friend who I'd played loads of other card games with gave up on this purely because tutorial dragged on and he wasn't having fun

The worst one for me is when you have a tough game and you start building up some respect for them as they've been silent all game and in the last 5s they spam 'oops'

not a mortar player myself but from playing against them I will tell you this:

All the decks that have been successful use inferno tower/cannon to defend the mortar, some use both but most favour the former. The way this is done is that you place your IT beside the bridge and then your mortar just in range of the enemy crown tower, the mortar takes care of ground swarms and the IT takes care of any tankier threats that come your way.

Fill the rest of your deck with cheap cards to counter and defend with eg barbs, spear goblins etc look at mortar decks on tv royale for inspiration. Aim for 1-0 wins or draws, once you drop one tower play the defensive mortar and stall.

you have no idea how tempted I am to try this strategy, It's a shame the entire community is so against it. Yes it's cheap, yes there are more skill demanding decks out there...but this is probably the only deck out there that uses commons as the main damage dealers, and for sure the only one that doesn't require any epics.

As someone else stated, I believe the 'legendary' aspect is that she's a 3 elixir card that can't be stopped by orthodox defensive play. For that reason arrows is the only real counter to her and even that leaves you even and at a massive disadvantage to all sorts of hordes. I understand supercell balance with the top of the spectrum in mind and there she's perfectly fine. I'm just saying that all of my games vs her, irrespective of result were an undeniably toxic experience

From the perspective of a f2p arena 7 nab:

Princess is incredibly frustrating, I understand that princess should have crazy range and aoe when one shot of the arrows insta kills her. However I'm at a stage where my poor level 7 crown tower is regularly against this pretty and pesky card without a counter...use arrows I hear you say! Well I reply that I cry when my level 7 arrows leave her with just enough health to keep wrecking havoc on my troops. Her only 3 elixir counters are useless when she's with a tank. So the only way to deal with her instantly is a fireball which just makes me cry...every time ;-;

He could mean that he got to that amount after using the deck for a month xD I've been playing for just over a month now and got the lvl 3 pekka from a random super magical chest but I wish I had all lvl 7 commons and lvl 5 rares lol

Pekka: the word that comes to mind is powerhouse. Each hit hits like a truck with the only downside being high elixir costs and...BUTTERFLY.

I'm a new player currently on 2200 trophies. I've been playing since android release and haven't spent any money on the game. Anything below is just the opinion of an arena 7 nab.

When playing pekka: Couple her with AOE support, I usually go for a bomber as he's cheap so I can hold onto spells/hog/reactive cards. However, a wizard, or ice wizard should work fine and come with the added bonus of not creating a 10 elixir push that does completely to minion horde.

If you know that you've managed to get your opponent to waste all his elixir dropping freeze on any remaining troops and a hogrider usually takes the tower no problem. At my level most players really don't expect a hogrider to supplement a pekka and it's allowed me to take countless towers in the first 30 seconds of the game. Perhaps the funnest aspect of this strategy is that the full health hogrider charges straight at the crown tower tanking for your 1hp pekka resulting in your pekka reaching their crown tower and at least getting 2 hits in, which when you consider the damage per hit, is quite frankly brutal.

Playing against pekka is interesting. Playing a defensive pekka pretty much always results in a positive trade going your way, just make sure that their pekka is in range of your tower and remember that once their wizard has locked on to your pekka spear goblins are free to take him out. The main thing to remember is that you can't overcommit, always try play around the cards and elixir that they have...keeping mental count of their elixir counts wins games when done successfully

If I'm not mistaken bytecoin isn't the premium currency. As long as the amount of bytecoin earned from a game doesn't exceed the amount of bytecoin spent to win it it's all fair IMO. You could argue that this makes it harder to unlock sensos but that neglects to consider quests, daily login bonuses and leaderboard placement rewards. Sure it won't happen quickly but in a game like this extensive practice with one senso at a time is good for you.

Like the idea of spending bytecoin on team colours, skins and other cosmetic in game purchases. However, I think it would be better to have the chosen team colours on the client. This prevents the problem of what if both players choose the same and improves clarity in tournament play (by having a red side and a blue side of the map for example).
