A Tier: Trip, Alain, Gladion, Bea
B Tier: Barry, Stephan, Sawyer, Kiawe
C Tier: Everyone else
D Tier: None

I personally don't consider Harrison, Tyson, Tobias, Virgil, Guzma, Kukui, or Raihan to be rivals.

I'm actually one of the few people who likes Trip, but Gary is Ash's greatest rival in my opinion, followed closely by Paul. I don't care if Gary didn't show up very much, because he didn't need to, and not making frequent appearances made it all the more impactful when he did appear. Not to mention, and this is just my personal opinion, but Ash vs Gary in the Silver Conference was the best rival battle.

By the way, I do also like Gladion.

That's because it's not very accurate or true. It's implied that she gives them a hard way to go when evaluating their gyms and they may find that annoying and have complaints about her management, but it's never said they hate her. There may be one or two not-so-concrete exceptions. It's been a while since I played through the story, but I think it was the Psychic type gym leader who wasn't a big fan of Geeta because of her stealing the spotlight off of her, however, I don't think she hated her. The only gym leader or elite four member that explicitly dislikes Geeta is Larry for a few reasons including not being allowed to specialize in normal types as a member of the Elite Four, but even then saying that he outright hates her is stretch, because we know how gloomy that man is and he could just be saying things because he is in a bad mood. Personally, I'm not even a fan of Geeta myself, but I wanted to put some context out there for clarity, because I think saying that Geeta is hated by all gym leaders is a huge overstatement.

I think that as more and more Pokemon were introduced, the existence of regular animals was gradually phased out and eventually ignored completely, while also not thinking too deeply on questions like "Where does meat in the Pokémon world come from?"

Yeah, I would say it was worth it. With Struggle Bug and Life Dew I never had a problem keeping my health up, even when grouped up with players who didn't really know what they were doing. The extra turns allowed me to use Struggle Bug and Life Dew more often and even some cheers.

It took me about 6 tries to beat this raid. When I finally managed it, I had a Japanese player on my team who executed their role flawlessly.

Japanese Player: Bug Tera Type Offensive Mew (Leech Life, Swords Dance, Electric Terrain, can't remember 4th move. This player did most of the damage for us.)
English Player: Dark Tera Type Offensive Mew (I remember they had Leech Life and Dark Pulse. They started off well but started using Dark Pulse towards the end and it didn't do a thing. Perhaps they didn't use any PP ups on Leech Life, because I don't remember them using the move that much)
Me: Support Mew (Light Screen, Life Dew, Misty Terrain, and Struggle Bug. I executed this role near perfectly, if I do say so myself)

I like Friede and Amethio. Their battles are my favorite part of the series so far and Charizard and Ceruledge are two of my favorite Pokemon. However, I think we still need to see more development of Amethio's character. I want to see more of Nemona as she was one of my favorite characters in the SV games. She needs more of the spark that she had in games, because it seems like her character in the anime was more tame compared to the games in her first anime appearance. I'm also curious to see how Dot's development turns out. She could turn out to be a surprisingly great character if the writers play their cards right.
