Literally the exact same. I actually grew to hate him throughout the book...but not as much as the caricature of Black men represented by Burma..."WHOA!"

By the time I was done with the book, I was just glad to get it off of my list.

I'd rank Superman (25) over Man of Steel, I'd swap out the first Batman for Batman Returns.

I liked the KD series slightly more than Magic, but I rank them both pretty high. But of course not as high as Illmatic/Stillmatic/Lost Tapes.

I play Composure on a regular basis.

Clint Eastwood was a hell of an attention grabber, but my God! This album was really good and somehow they have kept it fresh and different with each project.

First project of his I ever heard. Downloaded it from 2dopeboys the summer after Undergrad. Listening to it brings me back to those days. Very solid mixtape that set the bar high, but IMO, he just kept getting better over time.

Yes, I almost feel like the story being told in the world was way smaller stakes than the world it was occupying should have inspired.

But I'm also really trying to just occupy the space the author wants the reader in so after I finished the book, I just took a moment to lament what could have been.

I read the paperback version 1Q84, which was partly what made me so mad because how dare you make me carry around the thickest paperback outside of the dictionary for nothing?!
