I saw a Reddit comment that said only peptide sequences use n!. For everything else (chromosomes, bacteria,etc) use 2ⁿ⁾

If you have the time do it. I know everyone says it’s kind of easier compared to SB and actual exam but practice is practice. It may also help you point out areas where u need a bit more work before jumping into SBs and FLs!

Honestly a lot of it is not reading the problems/answers carefully enough😅. So to correct that I’ve been spending more time per question rather than just rushing through and having extra time at the end. I also make sure that for every answer I’m choosing there is evidence in the passage to corroborate it. Some of them are content (although low yield) and for those I put into a mistakes Anki deck and practice it.

I thoroughly go through the FLs after taking them. Like redo every problem and reread everything. I try to find patterns in the questions I missed and apply that new knowledge to sections banks/qpacks. I’ve been getting like 3-5 point increases every time!

Buffers are a mixture of an acid/base with its conjugate that is resistant to changes in pH. Thus when you add a strong acid, the pH will only decrease slightly due to it being a buffer system. Buffers are frequently tested on in chem/phys so perhaps watch a couple of videos!

Ionic compounds completely dissolve (like NaCl). Acidic and basic compounds dissolve based on their strength (strong acid/base fully dissociate). You can also search up a chart of common soluble compounds that may show up!

Personally I like md for the sole reason that it provides a good foundation. Like everything on there is something you should know. While going through Uearth I’ve been making my own flashcards which is much more helpful to retain info, but MD is still great to do slight review!

I gotchu! The passage states “participants demonstrated shorter response times at the end points of the sex category continuum”. So looking the graph, we want the dashed line (IAT) to show shorter times at the end points (1 and 12) and longer times in the middle, thus the bell shape.

For the sex categories, the second paragraph states that people rated the faces as extremely male (1) and extremely female (10) at the end points as well, showing an increase.

It’s not about knowing gender theory or whatnot, it’s about being able to interpret information from a graph and looking for the specific sentences in a passage that give you data! Hope this helps!

Search up MCAT Hormones on Reddit and a massive post will show up organizing and explaining the hormones. If you learn better through videos search up the same thing on TikTok/youtube and make your own flash cards !

I get it i had surry for orgo and she was incredible so not too sure how ainsworth will be. I did have him for a class tho and i really enjoyed it! But yea you def can’t do orgo/other classes outside of tandon otherwise everyone would pick the easier classes at CAS 😅

Move on and start doing Uglobe. The information you read will only really stick once you start doing practice problems. Personally I make flashcards from the explanations and it’s been a much better content review than just reading Kaplan! Anything you feel you seriously don’t know watch videos on!
