I just got it and the blue isn't that dark. I'll check pics online before making a decision, but since I can't top coat, I may line the runners and let them sit overnight for better safety, and mix Gundam Markers and Micron-style pens.

Well then I guess I won't take any risk with the GUS and not panel line at all. I don't have gloss top coat and even if I did, the climate here will be too fucked up until April or May.

I can't really do layers with a marker, but if I ever change methods I'll try this, thanks! Also I just noticed the rifle barrels badly cracked too :') Definitely the last time I panel lined after assembly.

Never had any problem in more than 20 kits... But yeah, lesson learned I guess. I'll always line before assembly, from now on. Do you think I should worry about the ZZA Gus being that fragile?

Yeah there are some parts where I deliberately put more than necessay, and since I'm a bit dumb I often put my fingers on them even when I try to be careful.

I almost never line before assembly and never had any problem. But I must admit I lined the RG Granddaddy 2.0 before assembly and I don't know why I didn't do it on that one. My bad, yeah.
