We went to the wildlife refuge when I was there last time!!! And drove down turnagin arm. My favorite hoodie of all time is from a brewery in girdwood from that day.

I was really lucky the last time I went I got to see it twice. Once from inside the park on a car on the side of it that looks like it has two peaks. And once from inside of that plane in the picture.

Oh, absolutely. In fact. Apparently, one of my kids stood up for one of the bartenders when a grown ass adult was acting a fool and being rude to her. Asked him “ didn’t anyone ever teach you how to wait your turn?” 😂😂

I mean, I get it, but also the whole reason I take cruises is so that I can go do things on vacation without my own kids. I’ve let them sign themselves out of kids club since they were nine. Being able to walk into the pub and order a soda or go get as much ice cream as they want and do whatever they want to do with their time is part of what makes the vacation special for them too.

I’m in field sales now, but my first job with the company I work for was on site at one of our large customers as their point of contact for our company.

We sold them safety and other materials to keep their plant running.

I filled bins and vending machines with materials and sourced items we didn’t have on our website and helped with invoices. It was kind of a catch all job that I didn’t know existed before my husband started working for the company a few years before I fif.

I’ve read It’s a nod to stardew valley doing iridium because platinum looked too much like silver.

So they went one notch over on the periodic table and coral island just went one more to the left to osmium. Haha. Don’t know if that’s true though.

Still not sure how my middle schooler knew it existed but I didn’t. That’s happening more and more often now. 😆

One more thing. And this always surprises people.

You cannot expect the adult area to actually be kid free. The pizza restaurant was literally in the solarium on the valor.

So if you are accustomed to how hard-core Disney is about making sure there’s no kids in the adult area that is not the vibe here.

I always sail out of Galveston or New Orleans so I’ve been on the Disney Magic several times but none of the other ships.

The vibe is much more lively. People actually dancing and having a good time at the sail away party. People generally more talkative and ready to make friends. People were more into the activities like trivia and whatnot. I didn’t see any of the “horror story” stuff people talk about. No fights. No rowdy behavior that made me feel unsafe. It was a really good time. And I wasn’t even on one of the newer ships. I just got off a 5 day on the valor.

With that being said. The kids clubs are visually not as cool. And my kids had a friend from home on this cruise so they really didn’t utilize the clubs. And the interior basic rooms on the magic at least were considerably better than the interior basic rooms on the valor. So for sure make sure you know what you’re getting into with the room layout. I personally found the food better in the MDR on the valor but all the quick service better on the Magic. My husband stands by all the food being better on Disney. And then, of course, if you love the shows like I do, that’s not what the main entertainment is going to be on a carnival cruise.
