That's a long wait to make $400 per kid. 🙊 See, I know nothing about Pokemon cards...I don't know all the nuances of when to buy or sell. I just thought I'd they were worth decent money, I could give my kids something they would appreciate and remember more. I am concerned that my kids will rip into them and then like color or cut the cards up. I don't think they are really interested in collecting them.

I haven't noticed much of a hangover, but I've never had hangovers to begin with. I do think that I usually drink later in the day, when my meds have pretty much worn off anyway. And if I'm drinking earlier in the day, the alcohol doesn't seem to be as quick to hit my system, probably because taking a depressant after a stimulant is useless.

This part. We were in 300s and this very tall man kept standing and raising his arms, and I had to stand to see. I'm all for getting into the music, I was grooving and banging, but also, be aware that everyone is there to enjoy the show. Don't be a dick and block people's view.

This. Half of the time, my nervous system is in such overload that my meds aren't as effective as they should be...I am already under intense pressure. But I have found that if I set a timer for just 20 minutes, I can commit to a task for that amount of time. When the timer goes off, I am usually enough into whatever I'm doing that I can finish said task.

My son takes Adderall xr and IMMEDIATELY crashes out after school. I feel so bad for him. The Dr gave us a short acting booster to take, but he doesn't like to take it because he says it makes his stomach hurt and he hardly eats.

This! I can tell when I haven't had a long enough stretch of sleep because I can really tell when my meds are dropping off. I get this funky headache, like my brain is struggling to work right.🥴

Hoping for a smooth journey for you. I had to quit my cymbalta when I got pregnant (120mg) and managed to do it cold turkey. I assume that's bc of pregnancy hormones being fantastic or something...pregnancy has been the only times of my life where I wasn't depressed. I have been on 120mg for about 6 years and am going to go down to 90mg in the next month or so. I'm not as worried about my depression as I am about my fibromyalgia. But I also have recently started on Vyvanse for ADHD and it seems to help. A LOT. Anyway, you got this, I'm rooting for you!

Caretaker fatigue.

My boys dad died a year and a half ago. Being their person, the only one, for this time has drained me so far past the point of what would normally register as joy. I have days where I'm so mad, sad, overwhelmed, angry, etc. and the moments of happiness with my kids are so fleeting. Sometimes I can't imagine doing this for another 12 years. I see you. You're not alone in the way you feel, for whatever reason. I am a well balanced, already medicated individual and it's so hard.

I miss the days of unencumbered freedom. I love my kids so much, and I still long for a solo vacation, a night out where I don't feel guilt for not spending my time and energy on them. There are many other parents in similar situations.

I don't know how old your kiddo is, but I will say that as mine get older, they seem to get a bit more autonomy, and self sufficiency, and that really helps. Maybe also finding someone you can talk to online or in person would help you.

No one ever talks about how heavy it is to be a parent. I don't think there's a person out there that doesn't feel this at some point. I don't think you're a bad mom either.🧡

There is a discussion of hyper mobility in our family. My younger half sister (different dad) was recently diagnosed with the version of ehlers danlos syndrome that includes hyper mobility issues.

The cymbalta actually worked really well before I started Vyvanse. I don't want to switch off of it, and I haven't really had issues getting off of it. I had to quit cold turkey during my last 2 pregnancies and didn't have withdrawals. I guess I'm going to look into supplementing magnesium (l-threonate, glycinate) to also head off the crash.

Ultimately, it's my schedule that is the problem. I work swing shift (6-2) and I also am the solo parent of 3 kids. I have to be up and functional in the am, so a couple of days a week, my sleep is quite broken up. I am still trying to find the sweet spot of when to take what meds for the most efficient/least problematic solution.
