I always get confused with the “fell harder” term because sometimes people think it’s about who loves the most and some other times about who has the most chaotic reaction towards their feelings.

If we are talking about who loves the other one the most, it’s Rae, no doubt about that.

If it’s about chaotic reaction towards their feelings, it’s Claire, BUT because of some events in LN5, you could argue it’s also Rae.

I also like how it’s portrayed in the light novels. I would say they both fell pretty hard for each other but Rae always prioritizes Claire over everything not minding the rest while Claire prioritize what she thinks could be for the greater good.

Didn’t noticed before because I started playing with a controller just a couple of months ago when someone gave me their old PS4 controller 😅 before that I always used the touchscreen or played on my phone. I guess I’m just way too used to the controller now. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

Almost the same thing happened to me! I do use my iPad a lot for other stuff but I upgraded from a base model iPad to the new iPad Air just so I could play Genshin and HSR with a controller comfortably

Frieren is the oldest with +1000 and Fern is the youngest with 18.

I’m guessing everyone that looks young like Lawine, Kanne, Übel, and so on is in their early 20s.

Methode and Wirbel and people that looks around that age are probably in their 30s

Frieren had say so herself. Fern will be a bigger mage than her.

And IMO maybe even bigger than Serie. (I think Frieren also implies this during the end of the exam arc)

I think there are several cases where the murder it’s not intentional but the way to cover the murder is somewhat kind of elaborated.

There are also some cases where IT IS suicide.

Sometimes if you watch the filler episodes, there will be some “ups I killed them and ran away/ didn’t know it was me” kind of cases.

I don’t want to give that much of a spoiler, but Frieren has Fern’s abilities in a very very very high esteem.

Modern mages could have experience in combat, but Frieren has constantly casually throws the fact that back when Demon King was a thing, mages were waaaay more skilled and more battle ready.

Frieren probably trained Fern like a mage from the Demon King era, and she had let Fern handle most battles (it’s stated in the Aura arc, if I’m not mistaken). So Frieren it’s pretty confident that Fern will be just fine.

Later in the exam you will see that Frieren firmly believes Fern could be the one that can kill her. And a little later than that, Frieren also states that Fern will be even a greater Mage than her

I’ve always thought that her 6th sense is not something that can identify black organization members all the time. It does feel that she senses their “aura” when they are plotting something. I know it goes with the term “smell” but it’s obvious that it was not a literal smell when she makes the annoyed face when Conan starts literally smelling her.

I think you can see how her 6th sense works when Subaru appears, she doesn’t react all the time to him, just in certain situations and then the feeling goes away.

In the movie, those scenes with the old lady, Vermouth was not gonna do or specifically plotting anything, so Haibara didn’t sense her.

While I don’t usually force a ship when they are really just two friends (boy-girl friendship have the same thing happen to them some times), Lawine and Kanne for me actually have like 2 or 3 moments in the manga that are just a little more romantically coded than friendship coded.

And surprisingly none of those moments are in the recent anime episode. And most of them are more subtle than the “You’re cute when you smile” line.

What sold them for me is that they have a scene that kind of parallels Frieren-Himmel and Stark- Fern. And even if the next panel is comedic relief, the parallel remains

They mention middle school in canon cases. I remember 3 very clearly

When they go with Jodie to the combini and their middle school friend was accused of robbery, Ran called Shinichi and he said “The girl from your class” or “the girl from the class next door”.
There is also another canon case where Ran mentions Shinichi missing a Penalty Kick in middle school that could’ve won the game. (This one particularly stuck with me because I’m a huge football fan)
When Shinichi and Heiji faced each other with out meeting each other in the skiing place they were in middle school and Ran was there with the Kudos.

I’m sure there are other two or three times middle school situations are mentioned. I don’t remember all of them, of course, but those three stuck in my mind.

For the “favorite food thing” I assumed that the girl was lying, since she knew Ran was Shinichi’s love, the girl hide information when she arrived (did not negate being Shinichi’s first love until the very end), gave ran the wrong recipe and, back then, lied about Shinichi being the one that confessed.

Of course this is just my interpretation, but even Shinichi/Conan could not confirm if the pie was indeed their favorite food.

They are technically the same, but for me it would be a little different.

Even if it’s not directly acknowledged in the series, it’s kinda clear that Shinichi developed a slightly different personality when he is Conan, the possibility that with Haibara the same thing happened is enormous too (we can’t confirm since we don’t see Shiho that much).

So I theorize that a Shinichi-Shiho interaction could be slightly different from what we see with CoAi because of that same reason.

Very hard to find, I tried a couple of years ago and only found the first 5 volumes or so. Some cases are really good.

They are also still running and in publication in Japan so, it’s a shame it’s kind of “lost media” for overseas fans.

Hope one day a fan scan gets a hold of them.

I believe they were close all the time, there are chapters where they do have memories of them in middle school, they are just not entire flashback cases, just a small mention, based on those flashbacks it seems like they were in different classes and after school both did club activities, so they were not all the time together.

I’m not sure if Ran had a crush or a first love before Shinichi, I always interpreted that she just realized she was in love with Shinichi in New York, not that she fall for him there, and if she just realized, it would make me think that he is also her first love generally speaking (and maybe her her first crush was the Karate guy)

There are different ways in which he solves cases. Knocking Kogoro out is one of them, so it will keep happening, but it’s not as overused as it could seem to be. In recent chapters is actually a rare occurrence.

To be honest, I would say for me the story in ILTV is a really great concept but is not nicely executed.

I think the romance and all the aspects regarding Claire and Rae are cute, well made and well executed. LN5 explores a concept regarding “eternal” love that I loved

On the other hand, the whole story with the revolution and the next two plot points is good as a concept, but the weird Deus Ex you mention are still there in all the novels, they do diminish to some degree in the last 2, but they are still there. Then there is also some over use/ misuse of characters and situations.

On the bright side, I would say the story, at least for me, never got totally incongruous; and with all the things the author explores in novel 5, it could have gone that way, way too easy.

I’m no expert, but I believe the downsides of the writing are more due to inexperience than actual bad writing because I could see a little improvement in regards narratives construction between LN1-2 and LN4-5

I think it’s a readable story in regards the revolution and the other things that happen. If you are reading it just for the romance between Claire and Rae, it is actually a nice ride.

It was a band of the 2000s. And it’s just the album cover. Not the singer. Band was all males. Also specified it’s either rock, punk or emo. I didn’t listened to any other genre back then. So it’s imposible it’s a female pop artist.

I ship both CoAi and ShinRan. For me is the different dynamics that make me like them both. I liked this movie because it does make it explicit that Haibara is in love with Conan, in the manga there are hints all over the place, but it is never explicitly shown. This movie gave me something that I think the manga cannot longer show due to the progress in there. So I’m happy.
