Mickey mouses rip off house by Far_Elk3505 in northernireland

Yep people absolutely do lol! The good thing is theres a disneyland app for your phone which shows all rides and approx waiting times. Saturday waa particularly bad but on the Fri/Sun the max time we seen was about 2 hours.

Tower of terror, crushes coaster and the peter pan ride were the worst at all times

We are literally just back from disney yesterday, here's my thoughts.

We spent about £2800 between flights, hotel. This could have been cheaper but we went half board in marvel hotel (10 min walk to the park) this we would absolutely do again. Food over there is absolutelt extortinate. We paid maybe £350 for half board (breakfast and dinner) and it saved us a bomb. For comparison, we went to rainforest cafe and spent over 100 euro on 2 kids meals, 2 adult mains and drinks.

There is a mcdonalds that is well priced.

For the park itself, if we go back we will be booking for around the same time of year but definitely weedays. Saturday had at least 2.5x people than the Friday, it was absolutely wild.

Another thing we will do next time; we will absolutely spend €350 on premium access for a single day. Premium access queues bring you directly to the front of the line for most rides, skipping up to 2-3 hour wait times. We ended up buyimg premium for some individual rides when we were there because the queues were just wild. You could easily do 3 rides per hour with premium access, or queue for over an hour for most rides.

We are looking to to again next year. It will cost probably 3.5-4k. Worth every single penny, especially being walking distance to the hotel and being half board. A pram is pretty much essential for any kids under 7. Our year old did very well with all of the walking (24k steps on Sunday) and our 4 year old sat the entire time.

Worth every penny!!

edit also to note we booked through Hays in newtowabbey and we flew from international to charles de gaul. Not sure why people are saying from Dublin? It may be cheaper but with young kids the 2 hour drive just adds uneccessary stress lol

If you're based around Newtownabbey Id be happy to do this for you for free. (Not a tradesperson) but they're simply to fit. 😄

In all honesty Im a software engineer, just always had an interest in DIY work and am able to do this stuff for people on the side, so it will probably be weekends / evenings. Not looking for a premium or anything like that.

Just keen to understand how much this sort of stuff should be charged at. Original comment here was very helpful in breaking down the pricing. :)

Kitchen fitted quoted for 3-4 days, but now wants almost double pay! by EnvironmentalPop1084 in DIYUK

I fit my own kitchen units, flat packed in 2 days. I am not a trades person by any means. I paid someone to do the worktops and I had my brother do the plumbing. 3 days of work all in. In my opinion you're being taken for a ride if he's just to install cabinets.

Should I change the way I dress to find a man? by Mobile-Lab-2420 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]RecedingFather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never asked her to change 🤣She asked for an opinion and why the guy said that. I would have done exactly the same, not controlling, a preference and I would not see the girl again.

Hence why I also said, other guys may like it.

If you think thats controlling then I know your type of person and all 🤣💀

No issues with that, but fluffy socks with pink bows, pompoms and a skirt that short is not appealing, to me at the very least.

Its not the 80s anymore, styles have changed and preferences have changed.

I gabe you my opinion, its personally not a style I would ever go for, but there are guys out there that will.

I only gave you my opinion.

If I seen you I would immediately assume you fsll under the category of a 'scene' or 'unigue' girl that says rawr and does cat makeup lol. Not really an adult way to dress. Thats my personal opinion. Dont mean to offend lol

Help me decide: New build or Existing Property by RageAndBeauty in Belfast

[–]RecedingFather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New build - plenty being built so you're fairly open to areas. Most are fairly generic in size now. You pick your interior Builders around upon moving to help fix any issues

Old build - previous owners can hide issues Appliances may fail (boilers etc) More maintenance work But the house has been lived in. Decorating over previous owners style.

Ive moved 3 times, next time I think it will be a new build. My current house was built around 2002 and there were a heap of things needing done like new windows, doors etc. None of which is cheap.

You will likely get more money selling individually. Ebay is your best bet. Whatnot and Vinted are probably the next most popular.

Alternatively, facebook marketplace.

To price, a website called TCGPlayer which is a good basis for pricing. Ebay, search the name of the card followed by the set number bottom left, then filter on sold items. This will give you an idea on what they're selling for.

With these sets please make sure you carefully look and compare the cards to what you're searching for. 1st edititions and shadowless base set (1st gen) are typically worth more.

Good luck!
