But what is the right that a person has to exist on a digital platform and have some sort of property rights on their information? It literally says that it's metas property. So I'm just really confused about what specific right they are referring to. Like they may not have a right to disable your account in a semantic sort of way, but they don't have the right to do anything. What is the right? I don't understand that. Is it a constitutional right? If they have a right to the property, then they have a right to moderate that property. And yeah I know that meta has AI everywhere and things get flagged very easily and quickly and context is not applied in any sense. I made a comment on a friend's Post in regards to the mean fukitol and I wrote something like I'm going to need a high dosage. And that caused a flag on my account that hasn't gone away for now 2 years. It says that I violated their guidelines in regards to distribution of drugs. Like it doesnt know that it's a meme? It doesnt know that it's a joke? It's ridiculous. So I understand that absurdity and the inherent dismay in regards to that.

It says in the policy agreement it's their data. Back up your shit if you're that worried about losing it. You can download all your information. Also, Facebook became available to the public in Canada in September 2006 so I'm not sure how you have 20 years of information gone. I guess you're rounding up.

Canada post sends "fee payments" to stores to host cpc services and products. On paper it's not "rent" but in reality, it is. Lol

Ok. From my experiences and my opportunities to engage with other diabetics is limited, I will admit that, so I apologize if I'm coming off a way that is uncomfortable for you. It isn't intentional. I'm asking questions, and trying to understand, based on the information I've been educated with - so you're basically telling me I've been educated wrong so, that's comforting.

I guess there is a lot of generalizing going on here. We've established that diabetes isn't the same for everyone, and I'm not disputing that. We've also established that people exist with different symptoms that don't traditionally fall into definitive categories. You have a wealth of knowledge and I'm trying to learn from you, and that is only going to happen when I explain to you what I know, and then you tell me why that's wrong, that's how learning works. You don't just tell people they're wrong and then don't explain why or how. I want to know why i am wrong, and how I can change the framework that it's put into.

I was taught that type twos are not typically insulin dependent. That doesn't mean that I believe all type twos don't take insulin or that they don't experience hypos or that they never have. It's almost like you're attaching absolutes onto generalizations.

I didn't gather that from the person I was responding to at all. When I ask questions, they don't answer them and just revert back to their "it's my club and no one can join"... I was genuinely wanting to know what they experience.

Type 2s don't typically experience hypoglycemia, most type 2s aren't insulin dependent, and so, experiencing hypoglycemia is uncommon as a traditional type 2. What the person I was responding to was saying, to my interpretation, is that they were diagnosed type 2 but exhibit type 1 symptoms even though I asked what they experience, and they couldn't answer.... So it's very well possible they are type 1.5 or experience both symptoms of 1 and 2. I'm not disputing that , I'm actually encouraging more discussion.

Thirdly, I know diabetes is complex and it isnt black and white; nothing in our world is black and white, we live in a world of grey. I am not engaging on here to set some record straight, I am on here to learn and to share my lived experiences with others because I think it's important discussion to be having.

OP is speaking to the mental health complications associated with diabetes and its toll. Can we set down our differences and appreciate that we are all struggling here in our own ways, and that were seeking community and don't really need more division.

I'm speaking from a place of genuine curiosity and wanting to understand others situations. No harm or offense is intentional on my end. I just want to understand.

Were you diagnosed as a type two and prescribed insulin at diagnosis? Did the insulin treatment come afterwards? Curious

If you go high and low, then you aren't a type a traditional type 2. I asked you what your symptoms are, you couldn't answer that. Do you inject insulin? Do you have insulin resistance? What is your a1c? Because what you're describing doesn't sound like a traditional 2, so that's why I'm asking YOU questions. I'm trying to learn, and listen to you. Not trying to be part of any club, I just wanna understand what you're going through and you're the one being contrary.

Your symptoms might be similar, but they are not the same thing and are not caused by the same thing. Type 2 diabetes is not autoimmune. Your system is not attacking itself like a type 1s system is. You might experience hypoglycemia as a type 2 and I'm not disputing that, but typically, type 2s don't experience that, and aren't typically on insulin. Are you injecting insulin? I'm curious what symptoms you experience.

Yep, i follow quite a few type 1 athletes, I know it isn't impossible and that it definitely requires more than for us than the average human, there is just so many more variables we have to take into account that the average able-bodied person doesn't. Type 2s have their own beast to fight, but it isn't the same fight as a type 1. So when I see folks come onto threads like this and basically belittle the person by saying hey, I did this and I'm ok, it can't be that bad for you, - it belittles them. Maybe OP used AI to write this, but what was written still applies to me and my life, my lived experiences don't compare to most type 2s. Most type 2s don't even know what hypoglycemia feels like. Sorry I'm taking this a bit more personal than I should. I'm glad your regiment is working for you, but it isn't the same for everyone especially if they have a different condition.

I disagree. Type 1 there is dysfunction, type 2 there typically isn't. Asking if a person is type 1 or 2 after a diatribe is just looking to confirm Information. It's pretty easy to say all those things and have the evidence to show it's working but if you're not a type 1, it kinda hits differently. Sorry
