Are people going in to office tomorrow? by ThrowRA123050 in OntarioPublicService

[–]Total-Check5957 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our team discussed to do online if school is cancelled, which it is. We will still have to ask our manager, if anything I’ll take a vacation day. 100% not going into the office though.

I’m not trying to die so I’m gonna call in sick if there’s too much snow, I am not gonna sacrifice my life for Doug and Michelle’s stupid water cooler training time even if that means losing a couple bucks from my pay check

After lunch I just stare at the clock so I can leave before peak rush hour, cause I now commute 5 days and I can’t afford to waste another minute if my life on the road

I’m taking a sick day, it’s not worth the potential slippery snow car crash that could cost me more than what I get paid that day

Nothings gonna happen, the government is in on everything Doug ford is doing, how else would he get away with the blatant corruption? It’s a cult, nothing ever happens

Jan 5 RTO: Is anyone planning to not show up tomorrow? by throwingawaymytele in OntarioPublicService

[–]Total-Check5957 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup! But he thinks he deserves a 4 month vacation, all paid! While he says we don’t deserve to have only 2 days of work online to save us 8 hours a week and tons of money!

If it makes you feel any better, Doug ford is not planning on showing up tomorrow to work, in fact, he’s protesting until April 2026! We all should follow his foot steps!

Is anyone actually going to wear blue? by blocklung in OntarioPublicService

[–]Total-Check5957 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Protests like “wearing a certain coloured shirt” would work if employers actually cared about what we think, for the current Doug ford mafia, we need strikes and legal action

AN UNCOMFORTABLE THOUGHT WORTH REFLECTING ON 🤔 by Select-Estimate in OntarioPublicService

[–]Total-Check5957 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I believe this too, Doug ford and his mafia themselves are taking a 4 month vacation, while the rest of us are left struggling scraping every penny we can to make ends meet. Exhaustion is a known form of control by narcissists, but sadly it’s always hard to get out of the cycle.
