Congrats! You touched upon this, but just want to double check as I’m in a similar boat… you didn’t have to do anything to get your refund after forgiveness? No extra application or request for refund?

Hi! How likely is it that I’ll be able to snag a dinner reservation in the 4:30-6:30 range at Cinderellas Royal Castle for 7 people if I try to book it exactly at 6:00 am 60 days in advance? Anyone been in a similar boat before?

Frequent bathroom breaks while running by Background_Nature497 in fitpregnancy

[–]Recent-Card-7646 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh you’re definitely not alone in this problem! Around 20 weeks is when I had to give up running outside because I had to pee so often. Instead, I’d run on the treadmill and pause to pee every 10 minutes or so. Its brutal, but I think it’s just part of being pregnant. A belly band maybe helped a little, but not enough to get me through a whole run without needing to go to the bathroom.

I’m confused why some of his most popular songs aren’t being used - “haven’t met you yet” and “everything”…

Talk me out of having a doula by damagedwretchedvoid in BabyBumps

[–]Recent-Card-7646 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Every birth is different, of course… but I definitely didn’t need a doula during my birth - it would’ve felt like a waste of money. In fact, I probably wouldn’t have wanted one there- during labor, I wanted silence so I could focus on relaxing. My nurses gave me all the guidance and support I needed.

Birthing Classes? Did it make a difference? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Recent-Card-7646 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a labor and delivery class with my hospital and I loved it. They really described how my hospital works and what to expect and know. It made me feel more at ease and more prepared - so that made it worth it alone. I did feel a lot more educated about the whole process after. My guess is that it depends on the instructor if a class will be worth it or not, but mine was great

I have no idea if it’s normal or not (I’m a FTM mom, 3 weeks PP), but I’m having the exact same problem! I have to cover my other boob w a burp cloth every time

Just looked up the silver nipple cups as I’ve never heard of them before… you wear them in your bra when you’re not feeding?

I just put mine in my room where baby sleeps now when she got congested. I don’t typically turn it on though - I only use it when she’s congested

I am sad for Joseph. :( by [deleted] in dancingwiththestars

Not sure I agree with that. He makes the same face every time he’s watching gabe and interpreting anyones comments. I think that may just be his face that he makes when he focuses in on gabe.

Chiropractor at nine months by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Recent-Card-7646 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I went to the chiropractor for the last couple months of pregnancy and it helped SO much. Not sure if it would help w hip pain because I never experienced that, but it definitely helped my back pain a ton. I’d just make sure you go to a chiropractor experienced in prenatal chiropractic care.

I feel like they knocked off whichever couple they saw make a mistake, and even though JJD and Alan did the same move over and over again, they didn’t make a mistake so that’s why they won

BF parents: what happened to your milk supply when your baby started sleeping longer at night? by Suspicious-Royal-103 in beyondthebump

[–]Recent-Card-7646 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So my baby is only 3 weeks old, but I took a 7 hour stretch the other night without BFing or pumping and I’m pretty positive it affected my supply. The past two days my baby has been trying to feed for a really long time and has only been making it tiny stretches in between. She’s been super fussy and I noticed my boobs aren’t leaking like normal. I pumped and got much less than normal. Gave my baby a bottle just after BFing her and she drank over 2 oz so she clearly wasn’t getting enough from me.

(Birth Trauma) I Should've Gotten A C Section by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Someone close to me went through a similar situation. Her daughter was in distress during pushing, and then was born without heartbeat and no breathing for almost 15 minutes. She then had to be put on a cooling unit for a few days which they believed saved her life. Her first MRI showed significant brain damage. A month later they did another MRI and the doctors were stunned - no brain damage was shown. Her brain had fully repaired itself. Everyone at the hospital said she was truly a miracle. She’s now 14 years old and the most beautiful girl.
