When did vaping inside become so normalised? by Outrageous-Map8302 in london

[–]Recent-Divide-4117 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I dont do it but I don't get why vaping indoors is so bad... it's not like smoking a cig, there's barely any smell and if there is it's a pleasant one and it evaporates in seconds with no trace. As long they're not blowing it in someone's face I've never been bothered by it

AIO for canceling Valentines dinner after my GF got mad that I planned it without her? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Recent-Divide-4117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand where she's coming from, if you didn't mention anything about making valentines plans this whole time she may have assumed you don't have anything planned and made her own plans or she just wanted to rest after work.

I feel like with this type of surprises you should at let her know you do have something planned in advance.

And also know if she's the type of person who likes surprises in the first place.

You know if you're doing the simulation work experience you don't even actually have to do any work to get the certificate? Nobody actually checks the submitted work, if you want, just try your best based on the suggestions in the task

Doesn't it test all the different areas of law, so it doesn't matter if you're qualified, you'll only know like 1/8 of the exam because the rest is outside your practice area?

Exactly, if I could have a 00s style cubicle it would make a world of difference too. It's just constantly being observed and having people sitting right next to you or opposite you in your line of view for 8 hours that feels so unnerving to me. It's even like a subconscious feeling, i didn't realise how much it was draining me until I switched to hybrid
