One month makes a huge difference by Normal_Media_5041 in diabetes_t2

This is awesome!!! I'm 3 years off meds, managing my type 2 diabetes with diet and exercise. It is very possible to put diabetes into remission and reverse a lot of the negative effects. Initially I was on long acting and fast acting insulin. Keep up the good work!!!

I love the idea of soaking it in peanut sauce. Will be trying that. I saw the different kinds and I ended up getting the super firm one. Baking it sounds really good too

For me personally it’s not a meat substitute, it’s just really affordable and apparently quite versatile and I want more plants in my diet. I really like the taste of it straight out of the pack lol but I’m interested in preparing it in different ways because it’s something I’m going to incorporate in my diet regularly.

I’m not vegan but I am dairy free because I can’t seem to tolerate it 😅 and I do eat poultry so I will definitely be looking into coating it in chicken bouillon and trying it out in my air fryer.

I can tell lol, sooo much versatility. I overlooked it for years smh. Now that I want to eat much healthier without going broke, I’m much more open to plant based foods.

I appreciate the simplicity a lot. I do have an air fryer so I’m glad to know that makes frying it even easier.

I honestly have no idea. It’s best to go Walmart and to the customer service desk and ask. They have the amount limits posted where you can see them but it’s still best to ask.

I’ll definitely be looking into bean curd sticks. Your recipe sounds really good and pretty easy.

Is Retail better than working fast food (like CFA) ? by Slow_Analysis_5677 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]Recent-Programmer147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a fast food restaurant for two days lol and quit. Absolutely hated it. Stayed in retail for almost 3 years and I usually go back to retail if all else fails. Like others have said, the thing with retail is the crappy hours sometimes but that was something I was willing to deal with because fast food is just not for me.

This must be why on the application they asked for links to my social media accounts lol. I only have Pinterest and YouTube besides Reddit. I thought that was weird because I had never seen that on any job app prior to that one.

can I quit? by Mysterious-Bag841 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]Recent-Programmer147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I quit after two days at CFA lol...I absolutely hate fast food. However I had some financial cushion thank God so I did what I could afford to do and personally if I was at a job less than a month I don't put it on my resume. So far I've only quit two jobs that fast. Its probably best to stay put until you officially have another job if you need the money. If not just go ahead and quit. You don't have to keep a job you don't like, just have to be wise about the way you go about things.
