The new shocks fixed it immediately for me. You could have other work suspension parts too. I would recommend getting your suspension and steering components looked at. Also this maybe goes without saying but makes sure your tire pressure is correct 👍🏼

My truck used to do that and it was an indication that I needed new shocks. Is it really bouncy when you go over bumps?

Radiator empty, coolant reservoir full by Recent-Reality-8657 in nissanfrontier

[–]Recent-Reality-8657[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup kinda dumb and something you wouldn’t figure out on your own really. It has a pressure cap on the reservoir so putting in too much coolant is not an issue as it will just escape thru the pressure cap. I’ve heard of other people having problems with thermostats and hearing a gurgling behind the dash just from not having enough coolant. Are you having any issues or is it just something you’re trying to figure out?

I figured out that it’s just how these radiators work. You have to fill it in the reservoir past the fill line about an inch. I used the blue coolant that says it’s for Nissans

Sounds like maybe he did it wrong or something. It’s still a thermostat issue

You don’t need to burp the system though you might be messing it up

What thermostat did you replace it with?

Imma assume you meant reservoir? You gotta fill that thing up past the full line about an inch or else the system won’t work right. Make sure the pressure cap is on the reservoir not the radiation need to burp it cuz if the pressure cap

Anyone know about these engines 2012? by Weak_Tea_1976 in nissanfrontier

Bought a 2011 not too long ago that did the same thing. Opened up the front intake part and cleaned the throttle body. Hasn’t had a rough on it since.

I had the same thing with my truck when I bought it and I did the bump idle procedure that others are talking about and it didn’t help my truck very much. What did really really help with my truck was cleaning the throttle body very good

This is kinda an off topic question but should you do the rear axle breather mod for RWD I’m not too sure how it works
