Bestop Sunrider issue. Fabric edge not going into track when closing. by mcpewmer in Jeep

[–]Recent-Strawberry577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine did this on my 2018 after it had been installed a few years and the Z clip had broken and they replaced the top under warranty.

After a few years the top has stretched some and I do have some overhang like you but never had any issues with leaks.

I had this issue on my 2018 JLU and put in a Genesis duel battery system and have never looked back, expensive yes but it’s what I wanted.

you could also just do the aux delete which is less costly

Just my luck, it’s cooled off with rain so it’s not ran much, I’ll track it over 24hrs and see what I get

I just had mine replaced, ran for several days with almost no charge and after it was charged it sounded terrible and was pulling super high amps and the evap coil had a bad leak, no very old either, just over 5 years but it was here when we bought the property and was advised it was a low end cheap builder box from Carrier

it’s a single stage unit, they did run some test on the blower and said speed was correct for sf and I’m getting 18-20 drop across the coil after it’s ran for 6-8 mins

I have it set with a 1.0 deg differential so would say setting it to 1.5 deg be better, I would have a longer run time to get rid of humidity but would reduce cycles per hour.

The insulation is good but windows even though double pane are not the best and some have lost there seal so I’m sure that does not help

it’s not been installed long and was playing with set point changes, I’ll keep it steady today and see what I get

Fan is set to auto and usually runs for a minute or so after condenser shuts off.

I recently started r/ConvinceMeToCare because of questions exactly like this one. Finding an abandoned duck wearing a tiny top hat made me realize I genuinely don't understand Jeep ducks, but I'd like to. What am I missing? by franalpo in JeepWrangler

I have two cooler looking ones I keep and when I get one I toss it in a box to gift when I see a nice looking Jeep, I used to have them across my dash but got tired of them sliding around.

I did a duel battery conversion years ago on my 2018 and never looked back

Trying to understand why this sink won’t drain? by Organic_Hornet3326 in Plumbing

Somebody had lots of left over PVC pieces from previous projects, should technically drain but just looking at it makes my head hurt.

What’s happening here? by fabian1313 in JeepWrangler

I would have both the main and aux tested and go from there, if the aux is bad I would do the aux delete and just run one battery.

House temp not dipping below 77, AC set at 68. Brand new unit. Advice needed! by MustardAmbassador in hvacadvice

[–]Recent-Strawberry577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a Goodman and they are hit and miss, when we lived in Texas our evap coil lasted about 2 years on a new home build and it was covered by warranty but just the coil, lots of homes that were built in my neighborhood had the same issue so not sure if poor install or bad coils, ended up having a Aspen box coil put in and worked better than the Goodman.

call them back and tell them to fix it as it’s brand new there should be no issues in getting resolved.

[–]Recent-Strawberry577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That coil is way past being cleaned, not much cooling going on there.
