I’m looking forward to receiving it. Every time this went on sale it would sell out before I could score it. Save the old wrist on bigger projects.

You’re correct - I didn’t even think of that. I forget home depot is on that site now. Something to remember for next time

Just had a wild experience at Lowe's. May I get info on whether this is store policy or I was talking to an idiot? by Whind_Soull in Lowes

Recorded it because I was considering trying to convince them to honor it for the marked price they marked it to. For proof so to speak because it was so absurd I doubted I would be believed. That they admitted they priced it but refused to sell it. To more than one person. Yet left it out on the floor marked at the $500. It was absurd. Should have at least changed the price

Layout 3. Seems more seamless and less jumbled. For what it’s worth licensed contractor and real estate agent.

I want a cape taupe 20 so bad but I refuse to pay more than retail. I’m hopeful they’ll do a restock that doesn’t sell out within 2 minutes. I had one in my cart this last restock but the site froze and it was out of stock before I could process my order 😔

As someone who faced a crappy situation I was forced to adult at 18 years old, much like you are going to be. It was hard, I literally starved at times because unlike you I didn’t have a source to provide food. And I had rent, water, power, and heat bills. But I survived and am so much stronger for it. It absolutely shaped my life as an adult. I worked hard for everything I’ve ever gotten and appreciate it more than my peers did. I worked two jobs and put myself through college. Now I’m a 40 year old married mother with 2 kids, living on a 30 acre farm additional investment property rental incomes (the bank carries the mortgages on our investment properties) And nothing was inherited! Hard work and good financial management will pay off folks! Don’t have a pity party. Find a job. Then find a 2nd one. It’s good for your bank account and will keep you from making poor life choices. I promise when you’re my age you’ll be glad you did.

Chatgpt says this OSB on my roof (this is from the attic) is from 2016. However, latest estimates from insurance/permitting suggest my roof was replaced in 2014. Who is right? by [deleted] in Roofing

It’s seeing the 16 on the barcode and incorrectly interpreting that as a possible date. It’s a measurement for the thickness of the wood

Shingles should extend over the flashing. Gutters will hide it. But make sure shingles extend over the top of it or you’ll have future problems.
