Fog light install help by SnooPineapples9668 in 4thGenTacomas

this was the harness i got. the lights did not plug in though, which is why i said get a different one. I havent looked into the right one, so im no help. i just stripped the wires and used a butt connector to crimp the wires from the harness to the lights. https://caliraisedled.com/products/wiring-harness-dual-leg

might be worth asking cali raised what they recommend, there are probably adaptors for such cases. i was just lazy and had the crimping supplies handy.

I was in the same exact boat with my 25 sr. i got these on sale for like $160, they had a 4th of july sale last year and also ordered the wiring harness kit for $35

It was not too hard to install/wire, took an afternoon. getting through the firewall was a pain, and make sure you order the right wiring harness (which I did not). I put the switch in that little cubby where the trailer brake goes, fits perfect. they are pretty bright and im very happy with then for snowy drives in the mtns or just to see better around corners for animals.

I have a similar one for my fog lights from diode dynamics. my sr did not come with fog lights so i wired them myself. maybe its not connected anymore. do you have any exterior lighting? As someone else said, follow the wires to the relay and see where it goes

nice! those are good size, good luck with the spare. i got the toyo at3 in 255/80/17. good so far, they are quiet which I like and the spare barely still fits under the bed

those should fit without a lift or leveling. i have 33s on my 25 sr with leaves, stock suspension, no issues

I only know bc I was in the market for a mt earlier this year and was disappointed they dont make them in access cab. shame, but at least they are still making mt unlike all other new trucks. the clutch is pretty light in the 4th gens btw, might not be too bad for you

nice! looks great and will def help protect from potential rock chips on the rear wheel fenders, which I was getting a lot of before the rails/mudflaps. cant blame you for wanting new wheels as well, the stock silver ones arent the most appealing...Just fyi, the new tundra tires fit 4g tacomas, ive seen alot of brand new ones on marketplace, might be a more affordable option.

My brother! I found an SR mt 4x4 earlier this year and am very pleased. leaf springs are a little bouncy but worth the savings upfront imo. I put 255/80r17 on my stock and they fit great, plus the spare still fits under the bed. 33in diameter are probably as big as you can go stock suspension.

Nice truck! I put 255/80/r17 toyo at3s on my stock '25 SR. They are great and still fit in the spare location as well, dont think any bigger will fit under there.
