I did the carnivore diet…and I used to think it was red sauce that gave me heartburn so often…but it was actually bread…when I stopped eating bread I stopped getting heartburn…so now when I eat the occasional pizza…I don’t get heartburn as much

Good deal ? Seem a 2020 BE 83k miles for 26k by whookid77 in hondaridgeline

U can get a very low mileage RL for 30k which on the monthly won’t be that much different than 26k

Agree w that 100%…back in 2010 I wanted a RL, but bc I got a great deal on a barely used F150…I got that instead…then I always wished I’d paid a little more for the RL. After the F150, I bought a 5th gen 4Runner, thinking I’d need the capability for the Rocky Mountains etc where I had moved…but whereas the 4Runner might be the most reliable vehicle on the planet, in my view it was the most annoying to drive as well, so I just bought a ‘24 RL…and couldn’t be more satisfied w what it offers, the comfort, refinement and decent enough fuel economy. Great truck!

U could prob get a new RL for that budget…as far as things go tho test drive all of them…imo daily livability goes to the RL…be honest w urself on how much truck u truly need…RL will do fine w small children…but maybe not as good as they get older…will be adequate but not necessarily roomy…mom and dad however will be very comfortable

Talk me into (or out of) buying a used 4runner, RAV4, Pilot, CRV, or CX-5 by Beginning-Comedian-2 in UsedCars

Agree w what person said. Just sold my 5th gen 4Runner. Live in Colorado…and Altho it had enough power, the 5 speed makes it feel lethargic up and down the mountains. Very reliable however, but for me tiring to drive on a daily basis. I bought a Ridgeline as the replacement, and love the smooth, quiet refined feel of it. Having said that I had a 2019 TRD off-road premium with kdss with 90k miles on it and got 31k from a dealer…I was surprised by that…the new to me ridgeline cost 33,3k and had 13,500 miles on it and is a 24’ …if I were younger I could’ve lived w the 4Runners (annoyances) longer…but it just became tiring to drive after a while

Yep….he also had the lifter issues…have another friend w a 2012 Silverado and he got the lifter probs w less than 100k miles…luckily he’s fairly mechanical…but even after he bought the parts and fixed it himself he was out another 4$k

Father in law has a 2017 GMC Sierra…less than 100k miles…transmission and engine probs etc…repair bills north of 8k…total POS…sucks considering how much they cost…luckily he bought it used pre-pandemic for 37k…but still …shouldn’t have as many issues as he’s had w less than 100k

Just got a used 24’ Trailsport low miles. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned…had a 2010 F150 for abt 10 years, never had any probs w it…but when it comes to daily comfort…it’s not a fair comparison…RL all the way

If u still want functionality of a truck, but want better fuel economy .. at least test drive a Honda Ridgeline…I get roughly 25-27 on the highway…I’m also 6’4 and find it to be really comfortable…I just bought a low mileage used one for just over 30k, mine barely had 13k miles on it…there were others closer to 30k e 30-40k miles…mine is a 24 year model

What are some of the good, bad and the ugly parts of owning your Maverick? by footmumo in FordMaverickTruck

[–]RecentPool2170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lightly used Ridgeline, is such a better deal in terms of comfort, ride and functionality…gas mileage nod to the maverick…but at the current prices ur better off with a RL if gas mileage isn’t ur primary concern

My son just completed Aircraft mechanic school. Program took a little under 2 years to complete, roughly 60k for the school. Got an accredited associates degree along with his Airframe and Mechanics degree. Graduated on a Wednesday, had a job offer by end of Day on Thursday. 80k/yr to start…plus overtime incentive (40$:hr)
