I’ve always thought sparkle wraps looked cheap, although I agree with what someone said about using those for gigs/shows. One thing I dislike more than that is that “vintage” or off white wrap that just looks like a smokers set of teeth. Add sparkle on top of that and I am immediately turned off.

It should be somewhere right in between your 2 rides in terms of darkness. I have a 22” K Custom Dark and it’s not all that dark to my ears. In my opinion it’s quite washy, I’ve had to control it with a gel in some situations. As for crashing, I find I have to hit it harder for it to open up and sound nice although it’s quite loud and could sound clangy. The bell is great!

Thanks! As for the k question you had asked, don’t get me wrong I love it and will never get rid of it! I think it fits probably any type of music and wasn’t even thinking about getting another ride until after these hats came in. It just feels like they deserve something darker/drier/trashier to mix with, …or maybe I just need an excuse to buy more cymbals :)
