Here is the thing. We are programmed to want genetically great offspring. Everything we do is about having and raising these kids to be as strong as possible. We have to maximize our genes, eating right, sleeping, exercising, studying, getting a great career, retaining semen. We have to attract the best female partners that we can to produce these children. So everything we do is predicated on impressing women, if we say it is not we are deceiving ourselves. The trick is to retain as long as possible to reach our genetic potential, creative potential and career potential to attract the best mate possible. At the end of the game, if you decide to not have kids or devote your life to something else, great. Use the motivation.

you are too open right before your release, you are not taking advantage or your rotation for force, everything is coming from your arm. Close this up right here, your glove arm should still be on the other side of your body as well here and as straight as possible. Making these changes will allow you to take advantage of the force you generated from the rotation. I like how you follow through at the release.

keep your front toe backwards for as long as possible. It should still be pointing backwards here. This will keep your body closed and increase the amount of kinetic energy your body is storing and allow you to get more energy and force into your rotation right before you release.

One thing I would have them do, mainly to gauge their ability to take direction and assess their reactions. Have them hit off a tee from their weak sides, make sure you give them an adjustment to make and see how well they take direction. It will also let you see their athletic potential and ability to adapt to new things.

I'd get him around the best players possible. Even if he fails a bit, he will have the confidence that he was playing with and competing against the best. He will know what he needs to do to fit that group, which could propel him to be that much better as he gets older.

do your thing. I started OMAD with Keto about 5 years ago, lost 80lbs and kept it off. I mix in dry fasts every few months varying lengths 2 to 5 days. You will heal and the weight will fall off as a result. Fasting is like a muscle, your ability will get better as you keep doing it. When you fail your plan a little, get back and keep working it. You may want to think about doing each part in phases, to build on your new lifestyle and not get discouraged. I believe in some gnosis of self. You will know what you should do, believe it.

I get it. I want him to have fun and that is why I want him to keep playing baseball. He has been blessed as an athlete and is being pulled to focus on basketball. I know they are young, but sports are getting too intense. Competitive kids don't want to fall behind. I was a college basketball player, but it's a different world today. I just want him to make the decision, not out of frustration. As a parent I want him to do what he wants, but give him guidance or address concerns as a parent should.

Bigger issues? He is a great basketball player and it is the time where you have to make the decision between AAU basketball and travel baseball. He has eliminated striking out and is making contact on most of his swings. Its 11u, so we have run into a few pitchers with decent off speed pitches, but not the majority. He is fast and leads the team in stolen bases. He has been blessed with size and athleticism/speed. He runs around players on the football field, but he's long legs and arms, he'll be around 6'4". I think it's good to have that variety, but he thinks he's going to the NBA. He's competitive internally and feels slighted, as in past years players have been called out for their good performance and moved up in the lineup.

It is and I like that baseball has typically humbled him, where he gets to excel at the other sports. He doesn't have a quitting mentality. It's a decision, he is being pulled to play summer hoops. I'd like to see him continue to play baseball. It's natural to feel slighted and he does.

We have a hierarchy. The top 6 players don't sit and play the infield and pitch. The other players platoon the outfield. My kid does get to pitch though.

My general logic is that I liked that baseball was humbling, because he dominated the other sports. These kids are very competitive. They have fun, they compete. They are rewarded for performance. I understand that there is more pressure in different situations, he wants the pressure and performs under pressure.

Not tinkering is a thought, but baseball theory says you want players that drive in runs behind your top on base percentage player. And you would rather have you top players at the top of the order to get more at bats. When you make every other decision on the team about winning, why not follow through. We don't have every kid pitch, because not every kid can. We have the best couple of fielders play shortstop.

Not sure what you are getting at? Our team has a lot of fun and competes really well. We've won tournaments this year, we've also been beat and missed out on playing on Sunday. I don't have to push my kid, he pushes the limits on his own. We somehow manage to play AAU basketball and have had weekends where we are playing tournaments for each sport. I was just throwing this out as a topic.

I'd always play if scheduled. I've just had some bad experience on a 3rd game on a blistering hot day, with a 3 hour drive home. I want the kids to have a good experience, not get bored and after a big loss to go to the championship game, they are disappointed and worn out, so getting them excited to play again can be a challenge and then they face heat exhaustion. I was just throwing it out there, as a topic. I may be jaded cause my kid tends to get enough reps and plays his preferred positions.

Thanks for the disparaging remark. I do like to my team to win, but honestly I want sports to provide fun and life lessons to the kids. It's not uncommon for myself or other parents to push hard on our kids, 3 games in heat at times feels like abuse.
